I think I this vehicle up at snowbird yesterday and was astounded by it! Had no clue the Coaster by Toyota even existed…. Diesel dually but not pretentious looking on the outside

Nice! There's something really special about a "man"ual tranny now a days. That's why I kept mine (97 Jeep Sahara and 97 Dodge 12v Cummins) and in process of buying a 3rd Nissan Xterra.

These also come with a 4 speed manual. The Diesels come with a 4.2L with or without a turbo. You can get over 300hp out of these Diesels. Stock form, one can tow a heavy boat with the Nissan Safari over 5 metric Tons over 120kph easily. Hardly notice the boat on the back. They also solid built, and don't wear parts out very fast.

I've got one of the lada nivas, really trying my best to get it to drive, engine runs, just redone brakes, redone fuel system, now just need to fix a few more things and should be good to go :)

Ok SL doesn't stand for "Sport Light". It was discovered in the MB archives that the acronym SL stands for "Super Light". Need to be correct when spitting info.

My mother had one of these. I learned to drive on it. When I was in High school, I raced a Monte Carlo SS and smoked it! That chebbe guy cried when I popped the hood and showed him that he got beat by the 258 straight six! Lol 😊

My dream car to work on my farm. I have a modern 2018 hilux 4x4 but it ain't the same. It's not japanese but it gets the job done but the old japanese hiluxes are built to last a lifetime with no computer bs more simple but tougher off road and for hard work.
