Wow. Awesome stuff. My body has been so tightly guarded and i am working on slowly unwinding the built up armor.

I get confused about the whole idea of reducing pain... like wouldn't it just mean that you're masking the pain and therefore doing more damage by training through it? Like the same as just having painkillers?

Dear Mr Reinold, last Aug I had knee othroscopic surgery to clean things up after breaking my patella that didnt need surgery.A few weeks after surgery I was cleared to continue PT. I was doing pt at home and strained what we think is where the hamstring attaches to the back of the knee. After that happened I lost my ability to straighten my knee completely when standing. It feels like im fighting against elastic bands that are holding my knee back. Is this a muscle issue or a tendon issue? Ive had an MRI but nothing is showing up and my Docs answer is " I dont know". Im still not freely walking after 1.5 years since breaking it. Its slow and frustrating. My knee cap has also lost its freedom to move around easily. Sometimes I feel buzzing and fluttering behind my knee like I stretched the hamstring.. Will a brace help with walking and what kind? will an exercise bike help? Ive been usingcombination ice /heat but Im not sure whats best. Thanks for any opinion and I understand you are not a doc and I am asking at my own risk . Thanks Barb

Stabbing pain behind both knees when trying to sit on my heels. Can torn a torn meniscus cause this pain? During jiu jitsu I’ve had my heel compressed to my butt and have had my knee pop and it hurts really badly but doesn’t seem to injure it any further. I also have osteoarthritis and tricompartmental syndrome of both knees.

I had my surgery on 13th March, 24. I'm able to walk now, but my patella gets stuck when I'm walking. I'm not able to bend by knee while walking. However, if I'm sitting or lying on bed, I have no problem in bending my knee. Did anyone ever experience this? Any tips or advice? Thanks

I didn’t hear anyone speak on testing their glute to hamstring to low back pattern before movement to see if the firing pattern is the culprit to the “hamstring” issue… that way we can address the problem and not just out the onus on the hamstring.

Thanks guys, quick question. I just had a massive rotator cuff repair 2 weeks ago that included repair of full thickness repair of the supra, partial of the subscap, decompression, clavicle excision, proximal biceps tenodesis and glenohumeral joint synovectomy. Great doctor, his orders are 8 weeks in the sling, therapy to start 1 month after surgery in massive rct protocol, two weeks from today. I'm all set for the therapy, 24 up front with another 24 approved if needed. I anticipate exhausting all my therapies in order to return to work where I was injured. My take is I'm ok with working through the pain of extra scar tissue in order to allow more time for my tendons to heal to the bone and hold up long term. Appreciated all your input. Take care...

Honestly, I’m really looking for some solid advice and people normally don’t have time to just listen to banter and goofing around so I’ll pass on this video the videos that I will listen to or the ones it gets straight to the answers of my question which is can you heal a rotator cuff tear full thickness?

I'm four years late to the party here, but what about the relative effects of stimulating mechanoreceptors in the joint for improving body awareness prior to exercise? A hyper volt may not be appropriate over a bony prominence of course, but another massage/vibration or percussion modality with a soft head that could be used over a knee for instance...could that be considered a re-ed intervention to increase joint proprioceptive awareness?
