I didn’t hear anyone speak on testing their glute to hamstring to low back pattern before movement to see if the firing pattern is the culprit to the “hamstring” issue… that way we can address the problem and not just out the onus on the hamstring.

Criteria for running after Hamstring injury 1. Depends on grade of strain - Obvious😅 2. Pain free walking (exercises early - load on hamstring is tooo much while running - so 😢 a start concentric and eccentric exercises - start running slowly - Use RPE(also as pain scale) - measure different position strength and flexibility by loading - test frequently to check all is ok) 3.Start early exercises - to prevent de-conditioning 4. Strengthen functionally My take - 1. consider A. Episodes (first or second) of strain to plan speed of rehab B.Area of strain (muscle, tendon or junction) 2. Early strengthening - Proximal strain (move distal joint to strengthen in initial stages ) , Distal end strain ( move proximal joint) 3. Hamstrings takes endurance activities better in initial stages, speed work later part 4. Always include slump stretch as part of rehab
