Nonsense. Unless you live with a pack of untrained people who can't be bothered or who are not required to clean up after themselves, the kitchen does not need to be cleaned everyday. Do the dishes or make sure other people do their dishes, wipe the counters, remove any big chunks from the floor. The mopping the in-depth scrubbing of the sink and all that nonsense does not have to be done everyday. Once a week maybe?

Ive just had my new Carpet and underlay fitted,Looks like im in a different flat now,Makes a hudge big difference when it comes to having a new carpet fitted down,My old carpet been taken up to the recycle dump,Had that about 4 years,That was second hand when I first had it given to me,Got really old and tatty now,So glad I got a new carpet fitted down,Much better

I LOVE cleaning

I don’t see the point of cooking the rags. I plug my sink add the cloths and dish sponges too, pour baking soda and add plenty of boiling water ( both of my kettles full). That’s enough temperature to kill bacteria. Let them soak while I mop the kitchen floor and the temperature is confortable to the touch. Drain, rinse, let sponges to air dry and the microfiber cloths go the the dryer in tumble. I do this routine every night.

Yay I did it then. Hubby is a truck driver and he’s always on the road. Older daughter lives on her own, two others are teenagers, they don’t clean but they don’t dirty either. No pets at home, I love my friends’ pets like nieces and nephews, play for a little while but then I leave them with their parents. And yes that’s how I keep it sparkling clean now.
