Shawn, I just got an LS2 Valiant modular helmet yesterday and took my first ride with it. As an open face helmet it fit quite nicely and was comfortable enough. But having never had a full face helmet, I was surprised to find that when the chin guard is down, my chin directly touches the hard plastic of the guard to the point that if I try opening my mouth wide, it puts uncomfortable pressure on my chin and jaw and pulls at the entire helmet. It seems that if I did have an accident, my chin and jaw could be injured from the impact of the chin guard. I don't have an unusually prominent, jutting chin, so I am wondering if this is normal?

Hawaii seems about 20-25% higher than mainland prices. If you’re a tourist, don’t waste valuable beach time looking for “bargains”. Get what you needs at the closest location.

I gave up on this helmet after a year. It felt good for almost an hour and then caused pain across my head. It must be the wrong shape for me. All the features were awesome and I wanted to love it. I even bought a wire foam cutter from Amazon to try to remove a little foam in the offending area. It didn’t help and I am aware it would be less protective.

I had the same issue with Shark. The issue is the fact some of us have more of a round head, and some of us have a more oval shaped head. I was told my Shark helmet was designed for individuals with a round shaped head and if it was causing that much discomfort, I probably had more of an oval shaped head. I believe I read somewhere in my research for a comfortable full modular helmet that LS offers helmets for both the round or oval shaped head. It is now August 2024, and I am still searching for a full modular helmet like Shark and the LS 2. My other issue with Shark was the weight of the helmet. Hope this info helps for you and @binbinlele1041 (the commentator below yours).

My helmet definitely hurt my forehead for a while but luckily or unluckily, I bought it right before a long trip so it got broken in quick, and I like it now.

I just finished watching this restaurant on Restaurant Impossible on Real Time, this is how i got here, according to the website it has closed down, such a pity,on Resturant Impossible table talk program the producer hac in past said only 15 % of these restaurants on impossible carry-on being open 💡💡 and biggest reason or cause is because the first thing the owners do is stop 🛑 paying taxes,so so sad
