Hawaii seems about 20-25% higher than mainland prices. If you’re a tourist, don’t waste valuable beach time looking for “bargains”. Get what you needs at the closest location.

@debbiejohnson9203 WalMart is the lowest, but kinda assume most people expect that so I covered the closer options that are more accessible. Liquor only - Go to ABC Store Need Vegetables - Go to Safeway Lowest Price - Where you go depends on what you need.

I don't do Costco but do hop at Sam's Club which is much closer than Costco. I was comparing Waikiki grocery prices primarily for tourists and Costco is a bit further away and has a lit of traffic.
