@@maverick_jl the obstacle Shawn was playing on was a trail off pee wee but he didn’t make it so we continued on pee wee the rest of the time. There are bypasses for most everything we did so it’s doable for all build types.

@@ButtercupEcoDiesel I can tell.. every time I’m out I’ll just not take camera gear at the thought of entering and exiting the truck, setting up, breaking down, editing etc. y’all are doing great and keep the dream alive!!! That’s in my back yard, maybe I can make the effort to get out there, although I’m too chicken for most the stuff out that way.

I just recently installed one in my tahoe. A voswitch that was for a Tacoma. The issue I'm having it grounds for my ditch and light bar don't come on. Even if I ground it on the bus bar on the module. My diode dynamics fogs work with power to the module and ground is on the chassis.

I’ve never had a grounding issue and I’ve had 3 of these kits now. Run a separate power and ground strait to the battery and see if they work. If they do trace it back make sure you have power then ground also make sure when you hit the switch it is sending power to the lights.

I have the AFM on my 2014 sierra 5.3. They have issues with rollers failing due to inadequate oiling when the engine switches to 4cylinder mode. Problem is that oiling ports end up plugging up and causing rollers to go bad. Simple fix is to deactivate the AFM system and just stay in V8 mode all the time. I use a plug in productbthat Holley designed that does this properly.

Those 5.4 3 valves are great, change the oil and do your timing set every 150k. I have an 04 no rust with over 360k miles drive it every day pull trailers with it its on its 2nd timing set. Runs like new and nice gold tint inside.
