How to Bypass Factory JL and JT Locker System { Easy DIY Guide }

Would this set up work with the factory locker switches? 🤔

I think if you removed them and pinned it out to figure out the trigger and ran to a relay or similar maybe because currently it’s low voltage probably 5v and it sends a signal to the BCM then it sends a signal to all the components to see if the parameters are safe to send a signal to engage or disengage. So I would just get rid of them it’s easier to put them on another switch.

Why you need a harness and not just wire a positive and a negative cable?

@fronterae we just didn’t want to cut the factory harness and we needed the longer wire to run to the switch pod. It was just preference for us. -Resa
