What type of EDS do you have? What do you do to manage your pain? And what job did you find that has worked for you? My daughter is having a lot of pain and struggling with work.

it is fibromyalgia that is muscle tension and pain and pushes your joints and they dislocate because of eds then. due to fibromyalgia normal joints are pushed in same way as eds joints but they are stronger so do not dislocate. it is fibromyalgia to blame (psychological problem). brain fog is due to fatigue due to your psychological problem even before any pain.

27 my partner of 15 years had to give up working we went to GP they refused to try and find out what was wrong said she was too young to have these issues. shes been hypermobile since she was 13. it wasnt until now 32 years old i confronted her doctors and said has she got more severe form of hypermobility and now we are doing more tests so far the doctors we have used have been awful

I just wanted to thank you for this video I just got a new Wheelchair original frame yesterday and I was not sure how I was going to get it in my car my car is not this big but I think that the backseat is an option! It's a great video thank you again so much

Do you know what smart drive assists are called in general? I’m looking into getting one but smart drive assists only ship in the UK, and I don’t know what they are called.😅😆 Do you know of any other brands that make them that are good? I don’t know much about wheelchair accessories, and with brain fog it’s very confusing, especially when I don’t have a custom wheelchair, so I need something that works with a basic foldable wheelchair. Don’t sweat it if you don’t have any answers.😅😊

Hi Ruby (Ellie Dad comment here) If you Google... 'Wheelchair Power Add-On', that should get you everything you need. Ellie mainly uses SmartDrive MX2+ (it goes on back of wheelchair. Easy to carry/fit in car. Fantastic for town and walking Ralph, even on hills and gravel paths. The front power assist didn't fit her new wheelchair because of tapered legs. But the front power assist is better for rougher ground and cobbles as it has a bigger wheel. Probably best to visit a store and see how different ones work for you and your chair. Actually...today Ellie is doing that! (to find one for the front).

i lost my ability to walk 5 months ago, a major flareup in my sacro and lumbar spine, it happens in my neck, this is my 6th flare up and it has been the worst, ANQUILOSIS SPINDILITIS, its horrible, specially because im alone, absolutley nobody to help me, I do all by myself but with a lot of pain, nobody believes that I have an illness, my family gets mad about it, so fuck them, I will deal with this by myself until the end, doctors are shit, expensive medicine don't work, etc, etc, thanks for the video helps me cope, best wishes.

I love all of the clothes you bought. I have a similar style, it’s hard to find clothes that are comfortable material wise and clothes that I don’t over heat in. I usually resort to baggy tshirts and shorts or loose jeans when I have to get dressed. I need new Converse but I can never choose- there are too many pretty options!😫 I really enjoyed this video.❤

hi ellie im a disabled driver you can get a push n pull lever that attaches under the steering column and fastens to the pedels squeeze it to accelarate push it forward to brake

I actually quite like this video. The clothes haul with Ralph in the back squeaking away was so fun. I did let the time get away from me and almost missed an appointment because i was watching lol. I really liked the trainers you got, the pink and sage looked really nice. Doesn't match the vibe tho you're right. I find the biggest perk of my chair is being able to choose shoes more for style than function.

Hi love the video as always, I tend to get cheap is trainers as im sat in my wheelchair most of the time so don't need anything to expensive, but gonna treat myself to some new hoodies and maybe a gilet as my birthdays coming up and it my 40th so gonna treat myself. glad ur doing ok after the other day when you weren't feeling great.
