This build doesn't look at the attack stat at all. It works on HP deletion ... I think anyone can get 2500 ATK easily no?

I didn't think of this, so I will pin it so people are aware of this interaction. I did some testing with it. I confirmed that when Nungal attacks a target for the first time to apply the mark, the sense of purpose does not activate, it only activates if you attack a target that already has the mark (I assumed this was the case, but wanted to confirm). With Nungal marking the target with her basic attack, her basic attack will do 85% of damage instead of 115% (on crit hits). While safiyyah more than makes up that damage with her assist+trait, she can only use the assisting attack once per round. Someone else can attack an already marked target for safiyyah to trigger this. At 3 stars saffiyah already marks 2 targets, and even if she kills one on her turn, any ally can trigger this assisting attack on the other target. Her anti-espionage skill can also mark 2 targets, one that you select, and another from the agent's passive. So the main benefit of having nungal is twofold: to target a specific enemy with this mark and not having to run the anti-espionage skill. This might be a worthwhile tradeoff in some cases, and either way it is a cool mechanic. Thanks for bringing it up!

The boss has a trait that makes him attack against any enemies that attack him with a ranged skill. So when Nungal attacks, he will attack back. But the boss also has a reaction that reduces ranged damage, and I believe that is being cancelled with Nungal's 5-star trait.

It does not. Boss has a passive that reduces HP based skill by 95%. Elites reduces the effectiveness of this by 50% as well

It's ranged. I tested her against the Weapon Trial 2, which counter any range attack. She got countered by the boss when she assisted.

Yes! I get annoyed sometimes when she has her dodge on and cocoa gets in the way when I watch fights on auto

The skills all work but in PvP you get a defense buff that reduces damage taken by 30%. You won’t be able to 1 shot at 1 star but might be possible at higher stars.

She is very powerful and because her skills are based on HP, she would be relevant no matter how strong enemies are

The one with the most amount of stigmata stacks gets targeted

It seems to target the enemy with the lower HP. The debuff stacks can chip away so there are 2 options. You can make sure you cleanse every round so no one builds up debuff stacks. You can also use urgent order to make your healer go just before boss takes a turn to heal everyone’s health so that the stigmata doesn’t have a chance to tick. Having the debuff staff helps this fight a lot

lol, I didn't know that her assist attack is a range until then.

Most of the time I do not have a turn where she does a normal attack (like in this weaponry trial I run). So i use this team attack to give someone extra speed (like my healer) to have them go next on crucial turns to do something which would otherwise wipe someone when the boss takes a turn. It’s also useful in PvP as I could use it to make someone faster than the enemy Simona. For battles where I’m using her normal attack often I would switch it to her standard 100% attack (like when I did the solo tower run with Safiyyah).

Yea in auto battles when I’m watching it’s so frustrating sometimes when cocoa takes all the hits while safi has dodge and gets targeted 😆. In boss battles I usually turn the cover/assist function off for cocoa so it usually doesn’t impact these boss fights

I thought it would but when I tested it against lv 70 weaponry trial I boss; she did 1971 damage with her trait unbuffed. I used backtrack 1 turn to keep everything the same but used the flag of Convallaria to increase her attack by 20%. Her trait still did the exact 1971 damage to this boss. I cannot figure out why this is.

@@LockeD_wotv the final dmg is calculated after boss reduction on %hp dmg, which is 5% of 16%. That 5% is always less than 150% of saffi atk so it's pointless to increase her atk.

You can use Magnus instead of outlaw guard to reduce the attack of the boss even more. However outlaw guard also provides PDEF down II, so you might be able to get more damage done to the boss with outlaw guard if you are using physical damage. But Magnus also provides leader aura to fortitude so depending on your team mades he might be better on the team. I did this a while ago so don’t have the exact set up, but I believe I used world tarot on acambe. If he is 3 stars or higher you can use devil tarot instead

Yea you could be right. I didn’t test if it affects it or not, but for this solo build I needed the lifesteal so would’ve gone with this engraving either way

Oh damn! Well I find col is no where as strong as Safiyyah, so if col is the main thing stopping you then I probably would reroll. However leveling past 45 is a huge chore lol. So if I was in your position I’m not sure if I would reroll and have to level back up to 60 again, as it’s a lot of work and might get bored along the way.

Saf will be one of the top units for future content, Col not so much. Buy summons

After he drops the support hangman unit he uses a talent called Pursuit Order on his Safiyyah which boosts her speed significantly & resores one energy to her.

What if ever burning sword is *1 and newborn is *5?

Was trying the roaring flint trinket myself. It can also proc her trait. Might be a worthwhile substitute.

I’m sure you can get it to work, but you have to tinker around with it. As someone else said you can use the roaring flint trinket. But even without, I was only able to use my trinket twice the battle while there are 5-6 enemies so I have to deal with them without the trinket effect.
