You lost the big fish cause you didn't keep your rod tip low. if you keep it up the way you did you give the fish a chance to jump and or escape from remaining on the hook

nice video i live about 15 minutes away from arrow head lake I fish their all the time by the rocks along the shore were you park and caught about a 2 pound bass on a Texas worm yum dinger junebug also a lot of bluegill and largemouth bass of course
