I fished that exact spot yesterday , water was way higher and no weeds like in the vid , pulled out 15 LM in an hour....Forget Lombard lagoon as there are nothing but dinks in there ....

ILL State Fishing If you ever get a chance fish at three oaks recreational center in crystal lake , it’s catch and release only ....monster LB , pike small mouth and giant catfish , had a great time there last week every bass I got (about 14 of em) were from 2 lb and up

I've fished the lagoon dozens of times, not much luck. There are a couple killer spots in town.

+ILL State Fishing I've had more bats chase lures than fish at the lagoon. A buddy pulled a 2lb lg mouth last fall right next to me, they're in there somewhere. I'm gonna try flies in all the local waters in the area the next couple days for kicks. Fat cats pulled in the river/stream of I believe it's Cricket Creek, slightly nw of 83/64 intersection off of the frontage road in villa park.

I live in Lombard right off of Butterfield. Only caught little stuff in danada Lake and never tried the lagoon but anyone has any good spots in town let me know

I saw some decent sized carp at Danada when I was fishing. I went there again about a month later but the water receded quite a bit and didn't have much luck that time.

You can go to sunset knoll they have a doc you can fish off of they have some decent fish
