You can find a truck that has electric seats. Just use a cordless tool battery and jumpers to hook up to the seat connector and you can move the seats back and forth.

Why not just bend the bracket till the brake lights go off. Stick a screw driver between peddle and the bracket, have someone stand in the back of the car and say "Lights are off" and never have to deal with it again. In the old days before you were born we didn't have cheep Chinese plastic crap.
