The less I do to my Red Cherry Shrimp tank the better it does. It's heavily planted and only gets topped off with our tap water. A deep sand substrate is also in use.

There are for the most part no solitary corys. They should always be kept in a small group of their own species when possible.

You left out the part where these guys have a pretty decent chamce of killing and eating your fish. Use them with caution and ideally keep them in a species only aquarium.

Amanos are my favorite!! They have such big personalities 😊

In my experience of keeping ornamental shrimp in an aquarium, unnatural water still has a lot of ammonia, if the water is not natural, if there is dirt it cannot be decomposed by bacteria.

It is extraordinary that the water filter equipment is very complicated to produce quality aquarium water
