How do you cull with IBC totes?

We just sort them as they are caught to fulfill orders usually! If the team sees something that isn't high enough quality for what it should be, it gets put into an assorted tote!

Won't the female guppies eat the babies if they're left in the same tank? What do you do about that problem?

Great question! We typically take pregnant guppies out and put them in their own tanks with lots of guppy grass and floating plants so when they babies are born they have lots of places to hide. Once they are born, we remove the momma so she can't get them!

How on earth do you go about cat hing the little critters?

It's not too difficult until we get down the last few! Then you have to chase them a little bit -- but bigger nets help at that point!

IMHO. Guppies should be in the totes and shrimp in tanks. This is backwards

Hey, you never know -- all depends on the supply and demand we are seeing! For now, the neocaridina make the most sense in the totes for our business specifically. But J. Guppy would gladly fill these totes with guppies if we'd let him lol -Leath
