Elvis is most likely the reincarnation of a black man into a white man, no white man has that soul when he sings like Elvis.

Sorry to Tom. But no southern inflection at all. It was more about his voice, as opposed to the song. Elvis, on the other hand, it was the song and the band and then, and only then... His voice.

Any time is a good time to listen to Elvis! Love your channel. When are you going to bring us some new videos?

Barry has more emotion when he sings this song. Elvis version is good but not as good as Barry singing his own song.

My opinion...Elvis was at his best in the 50's...pure unadulterated and raw country and r and b. He lost his edge and high notes by the late 60's -70's. Listen to his 1968 comeback remake of 50's songs then listen to the originals. He made it a point to reinvent himself as a singer by 1969 and avoid singing songs like this one. Unfortunately, most fans today like the "adult' more sophisticated 70's Elvis. Saw him once in 1972 and was disappointed.

Elvis microwaved that song but barry wrote it and it was meant to be more of a crockpot style .. c'mon. He sang it too fast.

You people are crazy to think Elvis is better than the beegees... They were far superior and actually wrote their own songs. And Robin's voice was angelic compared to Elvis.

I could tell you before even seeing this video that Elvis won. No one can perform “American Trilogy” like Elvis can, PERIOD‼️ I only watched a small portion of Tom’s version but didn’t like it, and I actually like Tom Jones’ music, just not this so I fast-forwarded it to Elvis. There’s no one like Elvis 😻👏🏻🥰‼️

Hi Blacc Elvis. Would you please do a reaction to Freddy Starr in England with the Jordaners singing don’t Elvis backing group. Freddy don’t look like Elvis but he loved the man and singing his songs he was very good at. The jordaners said it was a privilege to sing with Freddy it took them back in time. Thank you 🙏 I

I've always liked Tom Jones, but he was born in Wales as opposed to Elvis who was born in Mississippi, and so its not personal. It is just not the same. Elvis owns the song !!!

This beautiful style is originally from Brazil and it's called Bossa Nova (some call it lounge). Almost in Love was written by the famous Brazilian composer Luiz Bonfa, and recorded by him in 1966 under the title "Moonlight in Rio", as an instrumental.

Dean Martin was the Elvis of his genre... both voices unique and smooth as silk with looks and charisma, both Kings... King of Rock and Roll and King of Cool.
