Nate how do you finish each map so quick? For example in Alaska, you finished the map in <50hrs, it took me double that to complete it.
@NProvinceКүн бұрын
Alaska, Im not sure of my timing. I think I was estimating. This time around (coming soon) Im gonna try to get under 40 hrs. Honestly Its really just about finding a process and excute. I have a process that I follow pretty much every map. A huge tip is get your fuel/ support vehicles in place and then you just run missions while stopping by those trucks to get fuel while on the mission path.
@zengrathКүн бұрын
wait, how on earth are you getting such a far away camera? for example at 35:14 . In my game my camera is right up against the truck. most of time i can't even see my back bumper. I always run into stumps and logs because i can't see them in front of my truck and get a clear view of the road. i there is no controls i can find to adjust the distance of the camera. it's one of my biggest peeves of this game is how they put camera so close to your truck you can't see anything, it's even worst when you have a large trailer or attachment, camera keeps bumping into it and getting view blocked. wow even at 1:05:44 you are still so zoomed out even with no big trailer. my game is horrible, my truck always takes up 80% of my view. I play on ultra wide at 3440 x 1440.i wonder if this game isn't meant for ultra wide.
@NProvinceКүн бұрын
Ultra wide might be the issue. Its the "Field Of View" Setting that I have Cranked up to 130 that allows me to zoom really far back. That is in the snowrunner settings

I like the walking beam suspension in the CT680, CT681, and HX 520 as weight doesn't affect ground clearance whatsoever. Granted, those don't have great ground clearance to start with, but at least I'm not losing anything. Love the content! Great video, good reviews.

Most games reward players regularly - points, levels, new items, or a sound when you get something. This activates the reward system in the brain, releasing dopamine, the hormone of happiness. This cyclical loop ("I did something -> reward -> I want more") is incredibly addictive because it constantly motivates us to keep playing. In this game and in the whole series this mechanic also exists, but it is really slow. Too slow for typical game addict ;)

I drove a truck and did this type of work for over 20 years, and one of the things I love about snowrunner is the techniques and skills I learned in that trade also apply in the game. There's been quite a few times where I've had to actually balance my truck with the weight of my crane to traverse certain terrain, especially when I was in logging areas and staging pits.

In a alot of streams; these 3 techniques are used frequently to elude tipping, and getting stuck which would require a rescue truck to be sent out. Thanks for the video! Do you know how much that yellow crane weighs? I've been trying to get an idea of how that affects truck performance and weight. It affects a lot of trucks negatively.
@NProvince4 күн бұрын
Umm off the top of my head (not in front of my computer to verify actual numbers) I believe it’s double the weight of the blue small crane. It does affect truck balance. Some trucks don’t feel these affects as much as others. Still a great tool :)
@ceeofdeez5 күн бұрын
I definitely should not have been rude and resorted to name calling but when you instantly fire back that hitch trailers are better than semitrailers because of a single slot of additional capacity even though you have two videos maybe more directly stating that in your opinion semitrailers are the best way to haul lots of cargo, of course I am going to get triggered. The way you handled the situation though, keeping a level head, empathizing shit may be going on in my life to make me lash out, not being rude in return and even going out of your way to change up your style of gameplay and proceed to do a massive overstack using a hitch trailer just proves that you’re a genuinely good human being who is compassionate and empathetical. All I can say is thank you. You also made me realize that hitch trailers do have a real tangible advantage over semitrailers in that sure they aren’t the best to use if the route you need to take is really hairy with a lot of careful driving required to not tip but they are great to use to haul lots of cargo near to a destination. Then decouple and use just the truck and bed to haul the cargo when the route gets more technical and challenging. Overall a really entertaining delivery to watch and as always excellent driving skills and problem solving skills on display. Thank you for what you do.
@ceeofdeez5 күн бұрын
Conveniently leaves out any testing with a hitch trailer.
@NProvince5 күн бұрын
Hitch trailer is no different than what you seen with on frame hauling. It’s actially worse performance due to essentially dragging dead weight and it’s not gonna save your balance due to being a separate entity in itself. It’s been proven in mud and other conditions as well that semi performance is superior except in cargo capacity by 1 slot. To each their own in what they want to use

I don't get why they don't let you change metric/english measurements. It should be based on where you are or at least be a 3rd option. if your in NA you get imperial system, if your in Europe you get metric system. I actually am rare in that i do just fine both with metric and imperial measurements including weight, length, and temperatures C vs F because i watch so many international content and streams I am used to both. though would be easier if we all just switched to Metric already.. Metric is far superior in every way, 0 downsides yet stubborn people here don't want to learn a new system even if it's far easier.
