The snow loans are very efficient especially since late 2012, the OG CNG and Hybrids were having a tough time with traveling through snow.

I dont know why but it seems like HEV busses arent getting use as much in any borrow except Manhattan, there's some depots in the bronx which uses them but not as much more than Manhattan.

@@NIGHTMARE8877 yup, 225th is the first bus stop towards Locust Pt! There’s another bus stop at 222nd, and from there it turns right and heads towards Bronxwood. Hope this helps!

The snow storm was arriving that Sunday and Arctics were deemed risky after a bus collision in Jamaica back in 2018

Just a precaution for the snow storm. The MTA tends to keep the longer buses off the street since they're extremely risky to handle in the snow (the accordion part in the middle can get stuck and prevent the bus from turning/moving successfully)

Standard protocol - during heavy snowfall, articulated buses are usually kept at their depots because they don’t operate well in the snow

Codes on Aesys are messed up. There's also B41 to Delancey-Essex, Q70 codes, BX13 SBS to Orchard Beach, and plenty more

Eh, I’ve seen this happen a few years ago… the more interesting catch for me was 7576 on the Bx26 😅 but hope you were able to get a good shot of this one!

It’s happened before, WF once took over the entire Bx22 and the 40/42 for a few snow days a few years ago. But it’d be nice to see those CNGs on some of the other routes!
