Why are they going back to short buses

The snow storm was arriving that Sunday and Arctics were deemed risky after a bus collision in Jamaica back in 2018

Just a precaution for the snow storm. The MTA tends to keep the longer buses off the street since they're extremely risky to handle in the snow (the accordion part in the middle can get stuck and prevent the bus from turning/moving successfully)
