I'm almost 70 and I have some marbles that I had when I was a kid. But a lot of them. I got rid of and now I'm keeping a few if you so i'd like to find out what they could be worth.. Unfortunately, I got about 6 shooter marbles that I have really deep scratches and chips. I think I should just throw them but who's gonna buy those. I used to play marbles with the boys and get so good that they didn't want me around. Because I take their steelies and I take their cobs. And they were angry LO. L.

Have you taken before and after measurements of the marbles, like diameter or weight? I'd be curious to know how much (or rather how little) loss there is when polishing. I see both sides of the debate, but that shine and detail afterwards is just breathtaking! Fantastic work - thank you for sharing!
@MarbleGems

Yes. I am often very surprised at how little material actually needs grinding. You think it is a lot but most of the time, less that 0.125 inch or 1/8 to remove most bad chips.
