Just cut up one of the best stones I have ever seen! The slabs will then be cut up to make Rolley Hole Marbles.

Beautiful stone, I have some similar nodules I collected in eastern Kentucky.

I need to get my hands on some more nice solid nodules. I would love some nice yellow or red flint.

@@MarbleGems - If you want to give me your address, I'll post you some examples I have of some jasper and greenstone I've collected here in Virginia. You probably won't want to heat treat the jasper but it turns the most beautiful caramel, mahogany and sometimes mustard yellow colors! I'm piecing together a sphere polisher like yours, can't wait to give it a try.

Would it be possible to have some made? These would make amazing Chinese checker pieces, especially the agate colors.

I do make marbles, however, in fairly limited quantities. Chinese checkers takes 6 sets of 10 marbles. I generally charge about $20 - 30 per marble. A set like that would cost $1,200 - 1,800 to make and it would take me at least a year to make. I would suggest that you find some mass made stone beads to make a set from. Often you can find the beads that have not been drilled. And they are pretty inexpensive and come in many colors. Even a set with beads with holes would be cool.
