Susan Kelechi Watson played Beth in "This is Us," Phylicia Rashad played Clair Huxtable in "The Cosby Show" and is now the dean at Howard University's College of Fine Arts-- the team of artists here is something special! I wish I could have seen this run of "A Raisin in the Sun."

So many people here are just loving hearing their own voice without saying much (Mina Hartog) I'd have loved to hear more from Rhea Hirshman who seemed to be snubbed several times. They never circled back to her to her comment/question she wanted to say after the clip they showed.

Glad to see this play is still being produced. But for a broader perspective read Imani Perry’s book, Looking for Lorraine. She nails all the complicated aspects of Hansberry’s history. If all went into this play. So sad she died so young. 😢

Looks like the knights are having a flower fight (instead of a food fight). While I'd like to say that it's nice that they're having fun, what I actually think is that they look like a bunch of either high school boys or college boys clowning around in the modern time period, except that they're presumably grown men. I have seen high school productions on KZbin that were more mature than this and had more knightly behavior than this. Not that knights are always perfect or anything but these guys don't seem like they even are knights, I'm just assuming that they must be because of what play it is. This scene shouldn't be played too seriously but it shouldn't be played too facetiously either. I'm sure this was probably an interesting production but certain parts of it would not be to everyone's taste and would even be probably more likely to please someone who hated all of the traditional versions.

These knights remind me of the ones in the play, the movie, and the book that the play and the movie are based on in at least one way, which is, they need to be given a useful activity to do. Immediately. Urgently. As soon as possible.

Julie Andrews, Vanessa Redgrave and Meg Bussert are the three most lovable Guineveres I've ever seen, so far (all of them on TV and/or KZbin). I think there are many more good ones out there but of course I have not seen every possible one.

I like the way she sings but I don't like the way she says "lusty" because she sounds like she thinks it means "lustful" or "sexy" or "sexual" and that is not what the word actually means. This is now the third ad I've seen for this production. I liked her better in the first ad I saw. I thought it was nice that they had a dark-skinned Guinevere but to be honest I'd like her better if she played the role a bit differently. She's far from being one of the best I've seen (granted that I've only seen her in it for a few minutes though). In this video I do like that she's at least having fun with the piece.

This particular ad...somehow makes it look as though he were *the only* star of the show. (This is the Lancelot version. This play is about Lancelot, he comes from Joyous Gard in France to serve at the Table Round...etc.) And why on earth did they need to have him kneel just at the exact moment when the song says "Here I stand"? @___@ Other than that, it's kinda cute. Actually though they *did* manage to convey through their ad that it was presumably a good *production* with just slightly weird *advertising*. A for effort. A- because of weird things in the ad (and I've already mentioned which ones).

Love this! I'm working on designs for the production at my local theater, and I was wondering how you do the 2 different grate looks for the Bodega? I'm assuming there are 2 separate roll up doors? Do they get swapped out or are they both installed on top of each other?
