I’m not the biggest fan of waitress, I guess the premise never really worked for me but holy shit this song slaps. I’ll prob revisit the show one day

2024 coming back to this. Feels like he saw his mom go through stuff, as some of us also have. It feels like emotion for his mom.

How did he managed to still sing so well in between fighting his tears. Godddd my tears fell. ㅠ.ㅠ He really felt the song. He's not just singing it, he's feeling them and so did I. It's soooo hard to singing and keep your voice not go shake when the emotion is rising and it's too overwhelming, that's why I'm soooo amazed not just by his voice but because of that. I can tell he's so sweeeet

I replay and listen to him again and cry just as much without even blinking my tears kept falling down.

this song makes me so emotional. i relate to it so much as a little kid who was so inspired by one of my teachers. later on while at uni i was so incredibly lonely and depressed, and id think of that teacher again.

I saw katharine three times and last time was when Aretha passed i think. And in some Point she left a napkin fall out on the audience and after finishing her lines she extends her arm so the passing could hand her then napkin back and IN THE MOST JENNA way possible and fueled by the anger that especific part had, she says “ THANK U! “ and walks away! The audience went insane . I loved it 😭😭😭
