I so wish I could have been there for this, but I saw the show for the tenth and final(?) time last Saturday. It was still fantastic. I just want to shout out as many of the cast that I was able to see as I can remember off the top of my head and thank them for their hard work at maintaining this show as my favorite ever experienced in theatre. Jennas: Sara Bareilles, Desi Oakley, Betsy Wolfe, Stephanie Torns, Katherine McPhee, Shoshonna Bean, Alison Luff. Thank you all for bringing such a nuanced character to life in a realistic way that is so relatable. Dawns: Molly Jobe, Lenne Klingaman, Caitlin Houlihan, Colleen Ballinger Thank you all for bringing this gem of a character to life and imbuing her with such variation, yet still all being true to her. Beckys: Charity Angel Dawson, Anastacia McCleskey, Natasha Yvette Williams Three brillliant and entirely unique versions, I truly didn't plan to love all three of you but I did. Pomatter: Chris Diamontopoulos, Bryan Frenkhart, Drew Gehling, Jason Mraz, Jeremy Jordan. Awkward neurotic wearers of the white labcoat...you all found your dreamer but were left with nothing but a moon pie. Peace and long life to you all as you look for your next soft place to land. You will be missed!

I’m so glad Waitress made it this far! I saw the show on national tour in Costa Mesa over a year ago! Such a beautifully empowering musical. Though i did not have the oportunity to see it live either on Broadway (i'm from Europe,sad i couldn't go to NYC) or even on London's West End, i'm in love with the musical. It can be compared to the big ones for sure, such a beautiful story and perfect songs. I feel reflected on Jenna because of my own personal story. From the bottom of my heart,i really wish it returns with a revival. Hope it does not take too long and we have it again on Broadway in less than 5 years. Thank you Sara for the best musical score. Oh,and thanks to Kat for being such an an amazing,sweet and soulful Jenna. You really move me every time i hear you and wish one day i get to see the show live. That’s the incrediblw Stephanie Torns. She’s been part of the ensemble and the Jenna understudy for the entire Broadway run and since even before during the show’s world premiere run at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge. She has also played Jenna full time for multiple weeks/months at a time between the show’s ‘big name’ replacements throughout the entire run.
