I like the resourcefulness of using leftover cake but have you tried doing this but on cake pops? Make cake pops, use the same frosting to cover them, and then add crushed red velvet cake on top before the frosting sets. Maybe you could add raspberries on top to. Or try making designs with stencils and cake crumbs? Keep up the good work, don't worry about what other people say as long as it makes you happy.
