The Holy Sites Achievement can be easily done by utilizing Armenia as well. The achievement doesnt require direct control, just coptic ownership and faith in order to unlock the bonus. If Armenia pops up of her own even better.

The only difficult part is if you can get Cairo before the Otto bros and generally expand fast so you can compete with them. At least at very hard.

You chose wrong on the Jewish event. Supposed to keep the stab. They don’t count for religious unity so you can still finish the missions.

While you do get more value from the core cost reduction if you take it first, the missionary strength is arguably better to get first (you inevitably need to convert people to Coptic, and the holy sights are only able to give bonuses if the province is Coptic)
@icepyre3 күн бұрын
Honestly with the estate privileges conversion strength, I think waiting until the second blessing provides more value. I had 0 problems with conversion and it was super quick. But both blessings are super strong and the first 2 blessings are easy enough to get. So either is fine.
@christianwhite88773 күн бұрын
@@icepyre true that the estate privileges give more missionary strength. but they can stack. also those privileges create more unrest in land that hasn't been converted or aren't an accepted culture, though regardless you shouldn't have much of an admin problem given the starting ruler so I'd still find the missionary strength more worth being the first choice (though i can understand why your path works as well)

I know I'm a bit late to the party but for female emperors it's always been that the emperor himself if he gets a daughter as an heir gets the decision to allow HRE empresses it costs a bunch of imperial authority and some other stuff like prestige or something but they haven't changed it I'm guessing the emperor just got a daughter in your game at some point. Also I'm super hyped that you're back and looking forward to some achievement hunting.

When I play as a Christian nation, I always convert the province before TCing it. Does the Propagate Religion mechanic ignore if a province is in a TC? Or does a province have to be removed from a TC for it to work?

One tip for future colonizers: if you vassalize the one of spice island nations, give them the other province, you have a vassal that will colonize around them. Really helps

You mentioned that mysticism is very important for the campaign, but watching the whole video, I'm not sure why. Also, you said always take the Ulema mission for claims. Is that scripted with some of the privileges you gave out? I don't get that mission most times, but I give out slightly different privileges. I'm also not sure why it's always important to take, since you get claims against QQ via the first mission.
@icepyre6 күн бұрын
The mysticism interaction grants manpower. Since we were stacking manpower modifiers it's super effective.

Great guide, but in 4 attempts, I haven't had a single time where Timurids haven't declared on Ajam via the Isfahan event in the first few years. 3 out of 4 it's been before I can secure the Ottoman Alliance (in the first few months of the game). You can still win with just the Ottomans, but the war takes WAY longer and you end up in WAY more debt.
@DylanSargesson8 күн бұрын
While you were in your first war against QQ, you should have declared on AQ. Because the Ottomans were on your side in the war against QQ they'd not be able to defend AQ. That way you'd not have to wait for the favours to break that alliance like you planning to.
@icepyre8 күн бұрын
Only thing stopping me was the economy of it all. I'd have to merc up to match AQ and suffer through war exhaustion from QQ call for peace. Also you get more claims after fighting QQ 😀
