Hey I saw a few videos and you never eat the fish why ? I thinking start to fish 🎣 in Malmö and you have been my guide 🫡
@fishyaleks925727 күн бұрын
Hi! At this time I do not eat much fish. In Malmö, the perch have slightly too high content of arsenic and lead to be really safe to eat. But when I fish in summer at my summerhouse I like to eat perch and pike :) Very happy to give some inspiration :) if you speak swedish I have a small swedish channel aswell were I fish a lot in malmö (Aleksfiske) Tight lines!

This is why I love ultralight fishing and why it's almost all I've done for a few years now. I own one rod rated as "super ultralight", but I'll look into this one as well.
@fishyaleks9257Ай бұрын
I guess extra ultralight and super ultralight are the same thing, i dont know if there is an official word or anything. I was really surprised though by the difference of this rod and say a 1-5 or 2-7g rod. It’s gives way more feeling when playing smaller fish. Cant wait for my first trout on it :)

the perch you caught seems much healthier than the average one where i live, how bizarre.
@fishyaleks9257Ай бұрын
These perch migrate to the sea in summer, there is an abundance of both shrimp and gobys that they feed on during that period which makes them quite fat. Also, i don’t think hardly anyone is fishing for them during that time so they get to rest from fishing pressure!

@fishyaleks9257Ай бұрын

What is the best bait for trout?
@fishyaleks9257Ай бұрын
That’s a tough question to answer without more information. What method are you asking about? And what type of water?
@rossspollen7153Ай бұрын
For river fishing in Ireland would worms be the best or like Berkeley power bait.
@fishyaleks9257Ай бұрын
@@rossspollen7153 i would definitely use worms, they are far superior in my opinion. If using lures, small spoons or spinners are best I think!

@fishyaleks9257Ай бұрын
Tack!
@ottofacchini6225Ай бұрын
@fishyaleks9257Ай бұрын
