"Oh, perfect. 8 hours of Revan lore while I work" Boss: "why aren't you wor..." Me: "SHHHH! Don't inturrupt!" It's been so hard watching/listening to this at work because I CANT GET WORK DONE! This was amazing. From beginning to end I was hooked. I'm 7 hours in and I'm completely sucked in. I wish Revan made the big screen. If they ever did, I hope it would be as close to this lore as possible. This was PEAK star wars lore. This is the Star Wars that makes me moist.

If Kreia really is Arren Kae/Brianna's mother, no wonder she has radical views on love. But it leaves me surprised she discourages Meetra's affection for her squadmates, since it's not too different from when Brianna's father broke his vows to follow her to the front lines. Also, I'm surprised Brianna's race did not support the Mandalorians, since they're both battle turned. Then again, maybe it's exactly because of that they're not meant to be together, especially if they both have strong notions of honor.
@Noxxarian20 күн бұрын
I choose to take it as a means of ensuring Surik follow her heart. If Kreia supported that affection, it would influence Surik. But if she responds in the opposite way, and Surik still decides to do what she wills, it's genuine. But that is the way I choose to see it :) as I simply refuse to believe Kreia is as heartless as she appears. After all she does ask to learn from her mistakes.

Dxun and Onderon are the last planets I visit. Seems kinda poetic that way, actually. The root of all the galaxy's current issues, is the same place where your journey towards rebirth ends, before you're passed judgement for it. Plus, it's where you inflict the ultimate form of your signature wound, after spending the entire game healing the rest of the network. Which is cut people from their "Jedi/Sith supply". I want Force sensitives to choose their own way. Just as when my Revan chose to start building his Rakata separatist nation.
@Noxxarian22 күн бұрын
That's an interesting perspective on the planet order! And tbh it's good that each sequence of planets offers its own reasoning and story, so no matter which you place as last, it kinda has its own vibe in the planet line.

It was actually Visas that led me to Dantooine, after Korriban. I got her pretty fast, since I aim towards the Darkside. So I think "In spite of their flaws, they are good at healing certain inner conflicts. Maybe some Lightside exposure will do her good".
@JabamiLain22 күн бұрын
I side with Vaklu. There's a logic to it: -As a sworn enemy to the Sith at the time, I wanted to show Onderonians not all Force sensitives were bound to either Sith or Jedi. They could find their own way without being pawns; -Onderon and Dxun are rooted on Darkside. Yet the Apprentice explains the ecossystem in that system is one of the strongest and most reliable in the galaxy. I don't want to risk the Republic and the Jedi destroying the Darkside presence there. It could compromise it; -Onderon asked Republic's help during wartime. A decision at the heat of the moment, done by pure despair. It doesn't seem fair to enforce submission upon it, when such a decision was made during such circunstances. If it was during s time of famine, or economic failure (something commercial), then I could understand annexing it.
@Noxxarian22 күн бұрын
Valid viewpoints, especially from a dark side perspective, but even generally it makes sense. The point about submission is especially strong if you view it from the citizens of Onderon.

The Jedi are guardians of peace in the galaxy. Yet they refused to defend that peace when the Mandalorias attacked. The Jedi are the reason the force was out of balance and Anikin brought the Force back into balance when he destroyed the Jedi.

3:28 Honestly the Twins got overconfident. In this moment, Atton 'The Fool' correctly assessed them and in doing so proved he was already a step ahead and that their own assessment of him was off. It would've been wiser of them to disengage at this point. But I can't blame them for thinking they could still handle him. Also putting in work with those Echani teachings 👍

Why does he turn against us later ? How did Vrook convince him and the other one to turn against us ? Also, how do you make Visas teach you Force sight ? Is that "Restored mod" ?
@viktoriyaforrest8265Ай бұрын
About Visas teaching the Force sight is definitely not a thing of Restored mod - I saw that on vanilla countless times. It is a thing of influence - at its max Visas will teach you this.

@viktoriyaforrest8265Ай бұрын
@@Angelus_The_Red_Dragon Keep asking Visas "how her people are able to see" or something like this. Eventually she will teach you Force sight. There is a mod to see the actual influence value, but I forgot it's name. It might not even take a maximum of influence on Visas - it might be enough just from talks with her on the Hawk, without taking her somewhere for extra influence points.

@@Noxxarianindeed. I wished he had survived until the Prequel era, truth be told. In a galaxy filled with Eldritch stuff, it's probably for the best we have a robot who can not be touched by the origin of those chaotic Eldritch horrors.
@Angelus_The_Red_DragonАй бұрын
I like both Hanharr and Mira as squadmates. Both fascinating on their own way. So I headcanon that Kreia uses her trickery so Mira and Hanharr won't even realize the other is there, and only Meetra, Visas, the droids and Atton are aware the two are there at the same time.
@NoxxarianАй бұрын
That would be interesting. Though, in my opinion, I don't think Kreia would care too much to invest so much effort in keeping both of them. As we saw in many instances, she even complained about Surik recruiting so many allies. I do wish it was more weeded out on why EITHER is needed for Surik. My angle is that Mira is an adequate hunter who may be of use as an ally. But there really isn't any big motivation as there is for Handmaiden or Visas, for example.
@JabamiLainАй бұрын
@@Noxxarianit is meant to be a test. She's trying to get her to distrust her allies more. My headcanon is that she's putting the effort to facilitate her isolation plan, but also because Hanharr beated Meetra, but Meetra unconsciously used the Force to connect to Zez Ka El in order to keep herself alive. She thought that paradoxical outcome could lead to many lessons.
@JabamiLainАй бұрын
Still going on the logic of the previous comment, in the first game, I did something similar when I decided to visit Kashyyk first, leaving Tatooine for second. I did it, because it was close to that Station around Yavin I thought it would be more productive. And symbolically speaking, it shows our character, unlike Revan during the first time, already commited himself to the Darkside pull, so Tatooine was taking a few steps back to reduce the pull's effects.
@JabamiLainАй бұрын
Although I know Korriban is the last planet visited canonically, it also seems to be the one where the least things happen, so I prefer to visiti it first (I know the cave will only be accessible later for this), especially because my Meetra starts headed to the Darkside, so she kinda felt the pull to the planet and take the initiative in the fight as soon as possible. She only goes to Nar Shaddaa after Dantooine, but before Onderon. Personally, I think having it be the third planet strikes a perfect balance in her story and character.
@JabamiLainАй бұрын
If the Twi'Lek sisters are such tough adversaries when you go to Nar Shaddaa so early, I have two questions: -How did you defeat them ? -If Atton is not yet at his strongest, how did he beat them, canonically speaking ?
@NoxxarianАй бұрын
It is difficult to balance gameplay mechanics with lore, so sometimes the gameplay must take a hit, in my opinion. Atton should be able to beat the twi'leks easily because, in Kreia's words "Atton is far cleverer than he feigns to be." And canonically, he spoke of dealing with much stronger adversaries than mere bounty hunters.
