I thought - gosh Harpo’s got old and looks like Chico. Amazing tv from the month before I was born. Apparently smoking wasn’t just allowed on television it was clearly obligatory. Classic stuff from the 1950’s.

I remember seeing Moe Howard in talk shows during the '60's and '70's.He was obviously a very intelligent man.The Oscars should have given The Theee Stooges a Life Achievement Award.

At that late stage of the brothers lives the true Marx Brothers fan would know that is not Harpo . In their younger days yes but not in 1954 .

Too bad Harpo was never a mystery guest on What's My Line? With the panel blindfolded, he would fool everyone by just answering in his regular speaking voice.

Harpo stopped talking after a critic made some comments about his delivery. His grandson became an actor and was in a soap opera series.

The hosts and panelists pronounce Chico’s name “Cheeko,” as do most people, but the Marx Brothers themselves pronounced it “Chick-o.” He is said to have acquired the nickname as a young man, in reference to his relentless pursuit of “chicks” (women). Besides the womanizing, Chico had alcohol and gambling problems. After a certain point, his brothers doled out his pay a little at a time, because he would blow it all almost immediately.

When he came on screen, I thought...gawd...Harpo got old and looks just like Chico, weird?? Jokes on me.

When he first came on, I didn’t think it was him.

Chico wasn't getting the honks wrong at the beginning He was trying to say 'yes' Is there an object involved? Yes, the costume. Is there more than one other person involved? (Maybe a bit of a stretch) yes, because the host is in on the joke Is the other person here tonight? Yes, Chico is the other person and he [me] is here right now. But later he was backwards.
