Hello, thanks for sharing your trip? Did you rent a car with a driver. I’m going to Morocco with my family in November, and would like to do a tour to the desert from Fes to Marrakech. Im not sure if I should hire a tour company because they choose the camps and places to eat on the road. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

When I arrived at the old airport in 2009 and had to wait 11 hours for my connecting flight, the TA transit hotels were all full. Instead, I was offered a free one-day tour of the city in a van with a private guide. But having virtually no sleep overnight on my first flight, I lasted only a couple of hours and had to spend the remaining time sitting in a waiting lounge. The airline didn't even advise me to book a free room. But one of the airport cleaners told me that I had the right to stay in a transit hotel because my stopover was over 10 hours.

Yeah, Now it’s 12 hours transit to get the free hotel. You’re right that a city tour after an overnight flight isn’t ideal... Think my worst transit was 8hrs in Nairobi....

I have been here many times . I believe there is far more to see in Saint Vincent than in other countries. Just needs to be advertised much better along with better flights services.

Nice video. Poor turtles looked more like they were in captivity for tourism. Imagine the stress of not being free to roam the ocean. Btw the beach was Princess Margaret beach. Please make some more videos of other parts of the Grenadines. Good luck.

Depends where you’re from - I got my visa on arrival, and it was required

Filmed it in Mid-Feb, just slow uploading as we had a lot of other videos ready. COVID wasn’t causing too many issues then. From what I hear from contacts in Istanbul it seems things there are fairly well back to “normal”, and although I think Turkish Airlines are not currently doing the city tour for >6hr transits it seems as though the hotel for >12hr transits may still be happening. Hope your trip goes well in any case!
