Most people shouldn't buy the capital ship shop shards. You are just locking yourself out of ship mats by getting the ship to 7* quickly. I'm not sure on the Lord Vader account that matters or not, but most people shouldn't.

To give you some feedback as a "whale" of sorts. I am a player since 2017, 12.7 mil, and I have spent in the low five figures in my account's history. I am in a top 30 guild measuring by GP/Raid/TW. The changes that came with update are mostly good for our wallets. The only stuff in the $20 pass most of us care about are the omicron mats, the droid brains, and the 20 shards of each of the 2 marquees, but $20 is still a good deal for just those items. The biggest change that came with this update for whales is the 15 omicron mats added to the 12,990 crystal marquee pack. With the introduction of the new marquee system that came in with Boss Nass this year, these characters have become much cheaper than buying marquees in previous years. Then the addition of the 5,999 crystal 5 pack pull, followed by the 12,990 pack, and now adding 15 omicrons to that pack have just made getting marquees unlocked in that first week so much cheaper than it used to be and with the added benefit of lots of omicron mats throughout that process to further incentivize buying into the toons. Just to give some numbers on this, my first ever marquee I bought was Darth Sion, and at the time there was a 20 shard pack for $9.99 and the only crystal packs were the 1,299. I remember buying 3 crystal treasuries just to finish unlocking him to 7 stars. So roughly 310 usd just to unlock the 7 star toon. Compare that with my most recent marquee Huyang where I bought the pass for $20 and opened the 12,990 pack and he was 6 stars, so I could get him to 7 stars without anymore money just by doing the marquee event daily. Then you have to take into account all the omi, zeta, gear, and relic mats that come along with that one pack plus the new marquee event format and you can see how they have tried to bring the cost down to get more people to spend since there are a lot fewer people at the top whaling than there were in the past. I for example am someone who bought only a few toons through the old system, but have bought more toons just this year than all my previous years playing this game combined. I will close by saying that if you are someone who spends a little on this game, this new $20 pass along with the conquest $10 pass are the 2 best value items outside of light speed bundles that SWGoH offers, and my expectation is this pass is a result of how many light spenders they see buying that conquest pass but nothing else. Moving forward this change will likely have the biggest effect by widening the gap between those who spend a little vs. ftp accounts imo. I don't see much changing at the top end of spenders as my guild's discord has been pretty neutral about the whole update overall.

Can guarantee that the notifications thing doesn't go away if you clear out premium quests. Its still there :(

I would recommend gearing the 5 separatists you need for gas as high as you can get them. This will allow you to do the padme event and you will need both padme and gas for lv anyway

With POW done, consider his omi. It levels up a GR team in conquest and does get higher crates as a result of the feats being done. Tis the omi that basically pays for itself over time.

I have no clue why they are being so petty with small things like the capital ship event rewards 😅. It all seems so unnecessary to take away those rewards.

I think they should give players veteran smuggler han solo as compensation to those who bought bb8 lsb.

They give us more heavy purchases in Shard Shop. And take away another way to farm Shard Shop Currency 👌 Oh great. First, they've destroyed the passive farm of characters from GC. Now fleets. 60 shards a week. And 65 fleet shards a month. I'm worried about the Bro packs 😒

Ive been casually playing for 8 years and have earned 6GLs all by never spending a penny. It's so refreshing to see that a person can spend thousands of dollars and have less GLs than someone that just gets rewarded by longevity and enjoying the grind.

Before you didn't need to spend crystals to do daily. You just save 3 hr before the day starts, including the 45 free. Now you gotta go to store, get free energy, spend crystals, then go back to store to get what you earned by completing quests. "Easier" because less? This game is a joke played on the ones that play it

I was on the verge of quitting but this got me back to playing consistently. Idk how long itll last but i genuinely love this update

You’re the only content creator that’s like meh with the new update which I’m in total agreement with. I like the fact that the GL currency is inside shard shop but the capital ship shards are steep. Shards that gets turned to currency once the ships get 7 starred to begin with before the changes. Idk Nooch I love this game but the gotcha mechanics & fomo treachery has got to stop. Get rid of those dam paywalls I don’t wanna see em
