'Dog food' = 'heroin' slang term

I'm guy that shouted "Happy Birthday Iggy" then the whole joined in in the happy Birthday. Also i shouted "What about Bowie" when iggy was talking about John Lennon. And iggy answered "He doesn't come from Liverpool" This was at Eric's Club in Liverpool on the 29th of April 1978. I was only 17 years old at thd time. I'm now 62 years old. God bless you Iggy.

The ending is so weird: the music stops abruptly and he stops dancing but looks surprised and pissed, thinking: 'what the fuck's goin on? You weren't supposed to stop playin, you fuckers!', because he didn't expect the music to stop and wanted to dance on.

What a raw song! This was Iggy at his most drugged and deranged before cleaning up. The song sounds dirty, clangs like a garage, twinkles like a line of coke and growls like a hungry dog. I think Iggy knew a thing or two about all three by the Soldier album. He cleaned up afterward (I almost get high watching him lick his gums while talking insousciantly to Tom Snyder) and became a true legend. He put in the work.

Love it. Soldier was one of my favorite albums and I can still remember buying it in 1980.
