Tom Snyder’s show was pretty rad. I think this is the best performance of this song

Love it. Soldier was one of my favorite albums and I can still remember buying it in 1980.

What a raw song! This was Iggy at his most drugged and deranged before cleaning up. The song sounds dirty, clangs like a garage, twinkles like a line of coke and growls like a hungry dog. I think Iggy knew a thing or two about all three by the Soldier album. He cleaned up afterward (I almost get high watching him lick his gums while talking insousciantly to Tom Snyder) and became a true legend. He put in the work.

Dougie Bowne sure knew enough to be in the right place at the right time. Guy has played w some real legends.

First heard this song on the Sound track to Dog's in Space. Eventually got to see Iggy live, was not disappointed. Great song.

The ending is so weird: the music stops abruptly and he stops dancing but looks surprised and pissed, thinking: 'what the fuck's goin on? You weren't supposed to stop playin, you fuckers!', because he didn't expect the music to stop and wanted to dance on.

I truly love Iggy Pop but that's the most funniest song that I ever heard in a great way

It's a blast and I think it's about Iggy reading in the English papers about poor housing estates where dog food sold like hotcakes but pet's weren't allowed.

Dog Food composes my Wife? I wish I'd known that before I killed her.
