been playing games since a kid can’t remember a time video games weren’t in my life. all my gaming buddies still get on but they’ve all quit/stopped playing shooter games which we all met on. so i’m just in a party playing alone most days and it’s near impossible to find gaming groups these days

Man.. this made me realize how much I miss classic Siege. 2016-2020 were some of the best gaming years I've ever had. I miss playing this with my buds. Seeing the shape it's in now makes me realize it's not worth revisiting

Honestly stopped playing Siege long ago. The game stopped being realistic and the new abilities and operators just took it even further out of the "realistic tactical shooter genre". It is now a boring hero shooter with no identity (and a bad one at that). I miss the old siege, while yes it was glitchy and unbalanced it was fun and immersive. Whereas the new siege is still unbalanced but no longer fun or immersive.

i stopped playing bc it started feeling like fortnite

really liked siege back in the days but i feel the opposite to some points of the videos Feels like siege's downfall happenned because it was too focused on Competetive players. Operator is overpowered? Let's balance it Hard to spot on night maps? Let's remove them Zofia can stand back on her own, even if it is a known ability, but pro-player didn't finish them? Remove it It goes and, and on, and on, with every other patch being more focused on competetive balance Losing aesthetic of cosmetics is probably something completely different, that has no connection with comp or casual players i'd say, i am not even sure who loves over-expressing cosmetics these days, it feels like games become more generic when those are added

So glad I came across this video cause I completely agree. To the point I uninstalled the game. Played since it first came out. Was so excited for a realistic tactical shooter.....getting cool operators from real tactical units. Then over time it it became more and more like COD and fortnight. Pissed me off how they made operators to please the cry babies in this world, who would never exist in the real teams. Whats next, a operator who looks like a dude with a beard but has tits cause it identifies as a woman and has diamond covered weapons. And it's gadget is a gas bomb that makes the opponent become scared of guns to the point they drop theirs to the ground and get in the fetal position. Love to hear what you guys believe will be the next operatior. Bet ubisoft steals a idea

The outrageous gadgets, abilities, and outfits that no real operator would ever be in possession of is what made this game some wonky fortnight COD mashup slop. They need to return to their original immersive tactical reality based shooter.

I wouldn't say their going to just disappear over night but they just don't care about the games their creating and if you look at Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Star Wars Outlaws they LITERALLY look identical graphically except Star Wars Outlaws has a different filter
