"Negative comments" ...or people making perfectly reasonable criticisms about the danger that the growing number of these TOO BIG, TOO HEAVY, TOO FAST "mobility scooters" being operated on public sidewalks by "legally blind" people, and seniors with diminished mental faculties presents. But as long as you're happy, don't worry about all of the other people who have to use sidewalks.
@1966johnnywayneАй бұрын
Fantastic ...let's have a bunch of blind people, and borderline senile people driving "mobility scooters" on public sidewalks, because at over seven feet long, four feet wide, and 600-800 lbs ...what could possibly go wrong.

Hi Elsa, Thank You for uploading your videos on the Q Runner! I like the idea of the enclosed mobility scooter but I have no depth perception and was wondering it is easy to judge depth perception wise while on the sidewalk over the front end and on the sides. I am 5'3 and think I would be able to move the seat very close to the windshield and see over the front end but was wondering if you are able to see over the front end to see the sidewalk in front of you and also to see where you are at on the sidewalk depth perception wise on the sides of the Q Runner? Also is there enough seat room in the back for someone who is in the 200 pound range? Where did you get your disability stickers to put on the Q Runner? Thank You!

Mrs. VELA, I like you have a blindness issue, but I ca still read print. I have all of the same issues as you (we must be twins, lol). I have the same scooter (ew-66) that I use to take my grandson to scho9l but 8n bad weather (you truly know what I face). I'm trying to get a fully enclosed scooter, but the prices are much too steep for me as I am on a fixed income and trying to raise two grandsons that were left behind after their mother's passing in 2020. I've tried reaching out two different manufacturers to try to get my hands on either a demo or a used scooter but to no avail do you know of any way for me to get one as I don't qualify for alone as I have Fair Credit which is amazing because I paid for my scooter in full outright and I paid $3,600 in 18 months which was my lease so I own it now but I'm trying to sell it or either trade it at this moment do you have any suggestions for me?😢

I finally got mine! I love it. Issues are- having to take it to garage that works on electric vehicles to have the ac charged- the radio doesn't work- and I had to get the windows tinted due to the California sun. Don't forget to put air in the tires because they're low for shipping. Mine goes 35 mpr. People in town love seeing it too. Hopefully we'll have more running around town soon 😂❤

What scooter you got
@tinajoerossignol3 ай бұрын
@MickeyWinstead-z6m Econelo e3. Got it from China in July. It's already falling apart and the air-conditioning has never worked. Radio hasn't never worked. And can't find anyone who can work on it. Other than that, it's a peach.

Where can I find this mobility scooter
@b_uppy8 ай бұрын
Driving on the sidewalk is a yes unless it was crowded --maybe. Depends on the space on the street, if it's safe to operate on the edge of the road, etc. Zero trying to drive it in the middle of a car lane.

Although, I am not legally blind, or any other form of physical disability, my situation is also hard to describe. Up here in Ontario, I am disabled, the rest of my life, for mental, antisocial reasons. I'm afraid, anxious, nervous and terrified to be around, or interact, with strangers. I've always lived with my mother, or my sister, who takes care of all my affairs. What manner of disability, would you call this? But I can hide it, if I can express my feelings and thoughts, by writing it down.

Hi 'Texas Elsa'! Concerning the pockets, attached to each door, and the seat back, with all the small storage spaces. Please tell me, where you purchased such, if you would?
@b_uppy8 ай бұрын
Did you add a light to the interior of yours? Looks like it has an interior ceiling light. I've had people try to provoke insecurity, embarassment, anger, etc in me. When I refused to bite, THEY were disappointed. Those that belittle your LSP are insecure, or sociopathic. That's on them.

Mine is yellow. I like yellow, but also it is the only available, high visible color. Twice in the past 3 years, I been run down by white SUV's, while riding my Daymak E-Scooter. Public has no respect, for us!
@richardraglan45208 ай бұрын
I found your website , such nice comments. I from Ontario, Canada, and just bought one,"with Lithium Batteries". I subscribe and hope you talk back, to me. I feel pretty much the same way about everything, that you do. The public respects these, better then a normal e-bike scooter, which twice caused me injuries and damage, as I was run down, and pushed off the road.

Hmm, my Chihuahua would be able to run around the car unless there's a way to rig a small dog seat onto the back seat. Does it have A.C.?
@elsavela50088 ай бұрын
It has seatbelts so yes you can do that. Unfortunately it does not come with AC but it does have heating. It also has roll down windows, a sunroof and a back window that all opens up so you are able to get plenty of ventilation in the scooter

Good for you. Stay safe using it. How is the customer service, and who will repair them? Can you park it in a handicapped parking space?
@elsavela50089 ай бұрын
You can only park in a handicapped spot if you have a handicap plaque. Which I do but I rather park in a regular spot since my disability is visual. I rather leave that handicapped spot for someone who actually has a physical disability and can really use it. Also the maintenance on these mobility scooters is pretty easy. If you take this to any motorcycle shop or golf cart shop, they can easily help you with any repairs or maintenance.

You should have bought your mobility scooter in canada. That same mobility scooter cost less than $10,000 Canadian and you get a 37 with the American dollar
@tomgreen92079 ай бұрын
I paid $5470 usd door to door. , mine has a 3000 watt motor, lithium battery, air and a steering wheel. The range is 80 to 100 klms and top speed is 50 klmsh or 30 miles per hour.

Not having good eye sight is a hazard for driving and a disability. Between my back and hips and skin cancer- tossing in the heat, rain cold and wind, a traditional mobility scooter isn't worth the money, as I can only use it rarely. Being disabled and older, it's difficult to save the money to get one for myself. I'm close though. Have fun honey ❤
