We know you are experienced with livestock but you need to watch yourself with those heifer's especially when Roy is curled up in the blankets and you out on your own! They don't no what there doing and could think your going to harm the calf! And I know how fast they can move and believe me you won't get out! 😲

There could have been a power serge. If power is supplied by over head power line's. Wind may have affected them and that's what put the power off. Some farms I have worked at had the same problem. The good thing is it had tripped and there's no damage to your electric meter.

Well done with the electrics Charlotte , it would be well worth your while getting a qualified electrician to explain basic fault finding for the non electrical qualified, a few simple test with a little logic applied will pay dividends to you, especially as you are electric dependent and animal welfare is vital. Your vids show life on a farm as it is disasters, joys and sadness in one show, very well done, you are a star.

That's one thing u need to get in rotation is hoof trimming or feet care, I see ur cows are on pasture and concrete floor. You should find someone to do feet care and get started on a rotation. Each cow should be seen twice a year or as needed or as recommended with ur hoof trimmer.
