My HW80, 0.177 gives best groups with H&N Barracuda hunter and Barracuda power. I also think it doesn't like JSB's.

HFT shooters tend to use line marker spray paints on their silhouettes, try Screwfix if you have them in Germany.

I was looking for a 34 EMS here in Iran with the wooden stock and could not find one ,at last I found it,made in Germany in 1923 and I bought it , it is 5.5 mm 22 Jules. It came in a box with pictures and instructions for 34 EMS,,but on the gun sayes Diana model 45 😮 I love it , And friend if you think you need mussels for a full power 34 you must trye the beast Ar8 full power , oh boy oh boy 😅 buy it distroies the target before you pull the trigger 😂

Sir, please, there is a problem with the template, the latest version. It leaves the place for the wire inside the bullet. This is very unfortunate

Variation in pellet weight is apparent to me. AAFD and JSB exact vary more than H&N and QYS in my experience. Brilliant groups at that range - nice one.

It is indeed a very good air rifle. I bought my 2024 HW100 Bullpup about 5 weeks ago. It is great at the indoor shooting range.

Few closeups. Little about operation. Not much but walnut grips and flexing on the target. This is good. No problem. But I was hoping for more of the gun and less of the shooter.

So really the only difference in the newer model is that they have cut a hole in the butt. I see quite a few owners changing the picatinny rail to an aluminium picatinny as they complain of movement in the original rail. Personally never had a problem. I use mine for pest control with an Arken Zulus. Shot count in. 177 is 60 shots in carbine and 110 in std. 7:46

It is so sad that you guys in Germany have such oppressive gun laws. I know how dedicated you are to precision in everything you do and can just imagine how many things could be improved in the way of ballistics if you guys could just have the tools. I am wondering if someone could design adaptations to the basic reloading press so that one could just purchase dies for use in said reloading press. Just purchasing dies could really bring the price down as compared to having to buy a total system. It is something to ponder.

Like the simplicity. As with many Weihrauch, not the most powerful but just pick up cock the spring or fill the pcp air cylinder and start shooting. Thanks for doing the English version.

Im new to all this but I’m surprised that we’re only talking about a less than 10db change in total volume with the various silencers. The difference with/without seems much higher.

I had an older 16J version in .22 and one of the best guns I owned. Incredibly accurate, relatively quiet (no spring resonance etc) and beautifully made. Unfortunately I had a problem with the trigger that made the gun unsafe (think previous owner had tuned it but could sometimes fire when disengaging the safety!) so ended up parting with it 😢

I live in the US and have the HW90 in .177 and the Beaman RX2 in .22. I have a pump with a gauge that allows me to use any pressure up to 26 bar. This along with a chronograph allows me to find the best pellet and velocity for the best accuracy. It is nice to be able to tune the guns from 6-foot pounds for nice all day indoor shooting to about 20-foot pounds for hunting without disassembling the gun and changing springs. Once you learn how to adjust the trigger it feels as nice as the Rekord trigger.

I had this rifle for several years. If you want 30J do not take the 4,5mm because you get a sonic boom of the light pellet going through the speed of sound. It shoots and cocks much nicer at 23 Joule. I had a pump with which you could adjust the pressure of the gas spring yourself.
@rapalaron6348
@rapalaron6348 Ай бұрын
Agree with you. .177 pellets are not accurate on that speed.
