Nothing more has changed than the adjustable shoulder and cheekpiece. There is nothing else to change to make the HW95 better. Juts a step closer to the HW98 witch is also an upgraded HW95..... Great rifle that will last a lifetime. Will gonna be a bestseller if the price does not go up to much. 👍

What is new? Adjustable cheekpiece and probably because of the cheekpiece a new larger pricetag! Lucky for me I already own a HW95...

@@tomsvennblad8374 I'm wondering what that adjustable cheekpiece will gonna cost........😉I like it, but i already own the 98 and that's the only reason i still don't own the 95. A bit strange he's telling to buy always a HW with the Record trigger, but you can't buy a new HW springer without the Record trigger...Only very early HW's had no Record trigger and the HW90 gas ram has no Record trigger. Sponsored talk in my opinion.

Any ideas on UK release date? I'd love this as my first airgun. Was looking at PCP's but the mechanical nature of springers appeals to my recurve archery background. PCP's just seem to me as the Compound bow of the archery world which I had to give up due to back issues so this gun peaks my interest to get the fundamental shooting mechanics in check. Great review by the way, you've earned a sub my friend 😊

Are available as new 95k with silencer £600+...that's pissed on my chips 🙄..was hoping they would be more in line price wise with 95k lux

Or adjustable shoulder piece? I have troubles shooting open sights with my HW85 (internally the same as HW95), can't get it high enough to comfortably shoot 10m target at the height of 1,5m or so, do you guys have any opinion on this? Other option than adding adjustable shoulder piece is selling HW85 with really nice stock and then add 200eur or more to hopefully get 500mm barrel HW95. I will be thankful for any opinion.

@Signal_Glow I think it's Bisley that do an adjustable butt pad that may offer the cheapest alternative or there are 3d printed hook types available on eBay if you've got the 85 shooting nice and don't want to change it, a custom stock may also be the answer but that will cost all depends on how much you're willing to invest in the gun 👍

@@steve4697 Getting such replies is pretty hard, thank you. I got so used to shooting Slavia 631 with thumb on the trigger guard (three fingers on the front of it), that achieving normal artillery hold is almost impossible for me, 500mm barrel HW85 is always too low. So shooting lower than 1400mm is ok, for anything higher i can't rest elbow on the hip, it has to be on the ribs, ruining otherwise impressive precision. Height of the cheekpiece seems just fine on this rifle. I hope you understand what i mean, if you have anything to add please do. Btw, old Slavias 631 Lux that used to be export model with better blueing, testing, machining, action and similar is better than new 631s in almost every aspect, even triggers are adjustable enough to make up to 185 points out of 200 at 10m, i've seen a few guys pushing it to about 190. New Lux is more similar to mediocre Chinese models than good European airguns.

@Signal_Glow yeah unfortunately we're all different and finding a perfect stock often requires some customization, adjustable cheek or butt pad or some form of hamster rail under forestock..I agree many modern rifles seem to please corporate shareholders more than customers an unfortunate part of the modern world..hope I've helped in a small way and good luck finding a solution 👍

Is the HW95 Luxus stock still being made or this is now the new version?

Does the comb lower any further than what's shown in the video to remove the gap it has between it and the stock? If it's at its lowest setting with the gap, it doesn't look like it would be any easier to use the open sights with the new stock than it is with the Luxus stock🤷‍♂
