In politic$ unfortunately it is all about 💩money and power. People from the local library board to Washington want power. They think they know better than you do. 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

Hi Tom. I would be a great idea if members of Congress were pipe smokers, especially when in session. The pipe would allow them more time to just sit puff, think and reflect. Above all while puffing on a pipe it would help them to sit quietly and puff and listen. Just a thought. Ron

As a professional “something-doer”, the talks about “nothing” is plenty of something for most these days. It has a daily impact on them whether they regard it directly or not (like “world events”) and is not commonly known or shared anymore to newer vintage generations. Thank you, sir. 🫡

In my line of work I interact with a lot of millionaires. Love what I do but make, as you said, a fraction of what they do. Thing is, you wouldn't tell it seeing them day to day. Winter homes in other countries, own their own planes, some highly educated, others savvy and deeply discerning. And the choices we make are sometimes occurrences we're swept up in. Events directing us seemingly against what we'd assume we'd have done if we'd known more or better at the time. At the critical moment. But then the dominoes of life. Gratitude from the land of ten thousand lakes, Harv

Tom, I’m a young pipe smoker who’s currently a field engineer looking to get into surveying. Are you a professional land surveyor? I’d love to pick your brain and hear more about the day to day life if that’s your occupation. Thanks for the videos.

Great video always good advice. Lets hear your story why i think never married? whats your thoughts on being a single man through life. What you do to have meaning and life through what you do. I have been with my wife 25 yrs high school mates been together since teen years. But i often wonder of poeple who dont have the same story. What makes you tick what makes you keep strong and moving forward. Simple question not complicated but i see more and more of my coworkers who live the life of singleness and they seam grumpy as heck. So if asked from them of this single life i want to know something to say. Been long time viewer and love your channel

I've watched several Soft White Underbelly videos and many times they're just really hard to watch. You just never know peoples background and what they've gone through. The stories can certainly help get some perspective on life when you think you're having a hard day.

Hey Tom! Nothing wrong with holding onto tobaccos, do that as well. I even rehydrate from time to time. doing the eye drop thing myself, glaucoma. And here I thought that I coined the phrase "the woods is my church". Where I work is located in a woodsy area away from the main drag with all the wildlife around me. I just love that! Glad to see your doing well my friend!

My routine is to walk about a mile to a mile and a half, with a pipe, first thing every morning which begins anywhere from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. I use a variety of circuitous routes within my suburban community, which borders the Ocala National Forest. I wear reflection gear and carry a flashlight. If I'm on the roadway and the odd car should approach, I shine the light on myself and amplify its impact for the driver. If they're watching the road, they see me. Big if. I enjoy your philosophical ruminations/considerations.

Thank you, Tom. I’d like to check out that channel- homelessness is a serious issue and however people get to that place fact is it is a miserable quality of life and I think any of us could be in that same place but for grace. I appreciate your interest in that area, it is commendable in my opinion, and though individually we can’t change the world as it were, more compassion is most welcome to be distributed more in this busted world in my opinion. The BP Jum is a beauty. I do the same thing with left over tobacco: mix it up into a surprise blend. Hope your Fall is starting out nice for you. Thanks again for the videos.

Super grateful your video popped up in my feed brother…. I haven’t seen one of your videos in so long. Glad the algorithm put you in, now i have a whole bunch of videos to catch up on. 😊 I’ll have to check out the interview. I have a blend like 1923 its one of a kind and i try not to fall in love with any bowl from the jar because i could never repeat it. This makes me think about making a video, i just stopped because all of the YT scare and how their AI was supposed to fine monetarily a presenter if they didn’t properly mark their videos…. Keep on keeping on and take care.
