I had my fill valve in my skimmer basket, but when the basket got clogged up enough to impede flow, the water level in the basket would drop below the fill valve and it would run. My water level in the pond was fine, but the behind the basket in the skimmer it got a little low. I moved mine out of the basket, but don't like to see it.

@@ultimatefishkeeping Hi…thank you hope you’re well! Idk if you know I subbed to your channel awhile back and enjoyed the content. did he do a diagnosis? Did the pump work? Did the smart controller work? Or neither? It kinda jumped to we’re upgrading the controller; which I’m all for depending on the age (if it was working) so I was a bit confused on this one.

Questions! 4:32 Those Aquablocks are dead flat. do you get the ground perfectly level before putting the liner down or do you get the perfect level with gravel after the liner? 15:18 I Love the idea of having the water just come out of a pipe and look like a natural spring rather than using a biofalls. Can you please show the build process for this in more detail in a future video? How did you seal it all off/make it water tight around the pipe? is the pipe in the liner the whole way? How deep is it? How do you hide the pipe without the gravel going down inside it? You guys seem like a lot of fun to work with. You're sure fun to learn from! Great video.
