Happy Holidays Andrew and Decker Pondscapes! I just recently purchased a Aquascape Control Smart Pond Thermometer for my very small pond. It works great!! Living here in California our weather is very moderate and the water temperature just dropped below 50 degrees for just a few days. So, I started feeding my koi the cold-water food when the temperature was above 50 degrees and only about once a day when I started seeing food stay in the pond longer than the 3 to 5 minutes. What I wanted to mention is a feature with this thermometer worth mentioning. The phone app allows me to real time monitor the temperature in the pond and allows options to view historical data. I can see hourly, daily and weekly temperature trends within the pond. I was wondering when I would be able stop feeding the koi this cold-water food. I look forward to these tech tips every week.
