I use to play this game religiously back in the day. Got the mc yesterday and just finished this fight. I don't remember it being this difficult. Still, even with the limitations this game had which include awful aiming, it's still an amazing game with masterclass story telling.

Playing this in 2024.... I'm an avid gamer of many, many years, and I like to think I've beaten some really tough situations across a myriad of games, but for all the experience I like to think I have gained over the years, THIS stage in Dino Crisis has bettered me to the extreme. Trying to get this generator going, my brain is literally exhausted to the point I'm literally watching this tutorial bit by bit whilst going back and forth between here and the game in order to get through the remainder of it. It is such a convoluted, badly conceived stage of an otherwise great game that has totally sucked ALL of the fun and enjoyment out of it. I really can't wait for it to end so I can at least say I beat it. I can't even remember completing it on the original PS1 back in the day, but I must have, because I went on to buy and complete Dino Crisis 2. Thankfully I'm re-playing it on the PS5 via PS+, and only for the handy rewind feature present in most of the PS1/PS2 titles now available for modern gamers, I would have quit much much earlier. Dino Crisis is a tough game... and this Third Energy Generator Room part is near-crippling to experience. Thank you, Matthew Reynolds for this much appreciated lifeline of a tutorial. I'd never have been able to complete the game without help. In saying that, I've just gotten Kirk's fingerprint put onto the ID card, and still can't get the f***ing thing to boot up. So I'll unashamedly let your tutorial lead me by the hand the rest of the way, and, hopefully I'll have enough health packs and ammo left to fight the T-Rex, I'm assuming is the end boss.

So I just got to the final objective but I used all the timed mines 😂 I kinda remembered how to play but I was stuck on the first level lmao I guess I have to restart then right

Out of all the consoles Nintendo made, there was something....different with the gamecube. It was dull and impressive at the same time.

I beat him and when he did his gay emp blast I fucking died. I don't think this game was as good as people say it was. That or master collection sodomized this fight because I was able to do this on a psp but master collection is truly testing my fucking patience right now.

Can't believe I finished this game with so many trial and errors, stuck and frustrated with puzzles, without tempting to use walkthrough, it was so full filling finishing this games with hardest puzzles to be solved. With only pen paper and your brainy friend, such a wonderful experience.
