Hello, I just want to say that a few weeks ago I just fixed my bissell pro heat 2x. I took it apart and was like wow like you said but I cleaned the heater part which really didn't have anything it. I also loosen the clips on the hoses and let the fluid out and where the back container goes. When I tried to loosen those up I made a snag and had to get a new clear hose and a new t-connector which I got from Walmart at the pet fish supply section. I was wondering how I was gone fix it and where was I gone get the stuff to fix it. I thought about going to homedepot at first but while I was shopping at Walmart I said to myself I wonder do they have have a clear hose here and when I looked I was surprised and then looked for the other part and there it was next to it. I was so happy and then went home and fixed my cleaner. It didn't spray at first but after I replaced those pieces it did, it started spraying like when I first brought it. 🙌🏽🎉😊 thanks for all your videos. I appreciate you and everyone else that make videos of this old machine that we still want to use at home. 😊

People seem to be buying and then returning the main hose on Amazon. My guess is that they figure out that the problem is the red button is not engaging. Then they send the hose back when they understand how it works.

At the bottom of the hose that connects to the machine there is a red push latch. If that latch is not locked in the hose will not get a tight enough connection and water will not flow out to the accessories. There is a tendency for guys to push very hard on the part and not get a positive latch or a click. This is how I found your video. I thought I had a bad pump or a missing O ring. I put on my glasses and used a flashlight to figure out that the red button was not locking in place. It’s easy to miss this detail. Another item is after you clean the machine it takes a lot of holding the machine upside down to get as much water as possible out of all the little hoses and pumps or it stays damp and then you starting burning belts. They need to be be stored very dry, and these machines love to hold onto the water. The last item is there is an easy way to replace the belt without playing around with the white lever thing. You spin off the toothed belt from the brush. Let it climb over the edge of the cog with a little help and then move the new belt in through the opening. I think that is in the manual. Great videos, I would have never been able to understand my problem without watching your video. Thank-you.

@monroevacs12 күн бұрын
It’s possible that your pump is the cause-the water is flowing to the pump and waiting for you to squeeze the hose trigger to release from the hose but the floor section is waiting for the handle trigger to release to the floor- so unless the auto receiver is broken, (which mean that the tank will empty the moment you put the tank on) then the problem may be the pump- I’m hosting a live tomorrow at 1:00pm breaking down the Bissell revolution to give a complete look inside the system. Check it out if you can

The mystery hose: Connects to a hole on the side of the pump housing between the retaining screw shaft and the wall of the base. The other end connects to the nipple on the recovery side as pointed out in this video

The mystery hose runs from the nipple of the recovery tank side to a hole in the pump housing, between the retaining screw and wall. This is why it did not just flop ut until you removed the cover housing the pump.

@567jmr621 күн бұрын
To access the pump, DO NOT remove the motor cover. Instead, remove the 5 x screws retaining the plastic UNDER the motor cover. The the one screw towards the back-center (almost under the wires). 6 x screws total for this step. With these 6 screws removed the motor & cover all lift up and can be set to the side without disconnecting any wires or zip ties

Luckily I was looking for a Bissell serial number explanation, which this video eventually offered, although simplified. Had I been looking for any other brand information, "I'm not sure" seems to be the How-To advice motto here. Nearly 10 minutes of "I don't know, I don't remember, If I'm right...". Then he advises that after taking a bunch of guesses, to just call the manufacturer. Like trying to find a How-to video wasn't already a way to AVOID having to call the manufacturer! The suggestion to "guess and try to figure it out" is a gross misunderstanding of the reasoning behind someone searching for a video which would provide said answer, as opposed to looking for a video about how to play a guessing game with serial numbers! If I'm going to have to call the manufacturer anyway, I'm pretty sure I would have just started there in the first place. Darwin award for Worst How-To video ever.

Hi, I watched the video and I have the exact some problem. I was so excited when watching because I finally found the exact problem I thought yes...he will address and show what I need to fix. Along with water on the floor, the clean water tank look like now, becoming a little dirty. However, NO water is going into the dirty water tank. I have cleaned every part of the machine. Even replaced with brand new filter yet still there's NO WATER going into the dirty water tank
@kimhill635723 күн бұрын
You didn't address, where is the clean water going if theres NO WATER in the dirty water tank?
@monroevacs23 күн бұрын
@kimhill6357 if the water isn’t showing up in the tank then assume its spreading on the floor, being absorbed in the brush and soaking in the filter- think of a mop or spin scrub ( which only spin and move water around the floor)
