@WildlifeCommandCenter then you are a hero. Opossums are misunderstood creatures. I've had the privilege to raised 2 orphans. 1 in Oregon and one in New Zealand. Sadly in NZ they are not native and are treated very badly. Keep up the good work. Curious,... did the mother and babies have a happy ending? Their life spans are so tragically short.

That was awesome... I live in Southern California near a storm basin with lots of rodents. There is a hawk that comes and lands on a light pole right outside our home waiting for a "meal"... I love watching it... it patiently sits there for minutes on end. Thanks for this video.

@WildlifeCommandCenterКүн бұрын
Hey there, Hawk Watchers! 🦅😉 Seems like my "better place" comment ruffled some feathers! Just to clear the air-no hawks were harmed in the making of this video! When I said "better place," I meant a safer spot, not the great beyond! 😂🌳 Our feathered friend was just in need of a little relocation service, courtesy of yours truly, Bare Hands Beran. Imagine it as a free Uber ride to a five-star nature resort, minus the minibar. 🚗💨 Thanks for tuning in and for your concern-both are sky-high appreciated! Remember, here at Wildlife Command Center, we're all about uplifting wildlife... sometimes quite literally! Keep your eyes to the skies and stay hawkward, everyone! 🌟👀 #RedShoulderedHawk #HawkRescue #WildlifeRescue #BetterPlace #WildlifeCommandCenter #KZbinNatureHeroes Watch more feathery adventures: [kzbin.info/door/x4UeydCJfXHnV-wtF80TEQ]

They do eat insects and worms, they are known for their underground burrows, not their plant consumption.

Mainly eat insects, but do eat some root vegetables and bulbs are a common food for them. with all the digging, they wreck yards for sure.
