Why does everyone shoot 3 fingers under now? I grew up with split finger. Howard Hill and Byron Ferguson did fine with it.

Incredible distance judging , Are the distances known or do you use a range finder?
@archeryloveАй бұрын
We do not know the distance. In 3d archery, it is not enough to know how to shoot, but we also have to train distance estimation

I feel so bad for the girl in black. She seems to be a really good archer but her bow has a slight tilt to the left and her shots go off left. Better luck next time and heads up! Keep up the good work guys =)

I wish we had parkour courses that nice! Here in America we can't have nice things like that. Rednecks wreck it for everyone.😢

When did shoots start allow string walking ?
@archerylove2 ай бұрын
Stringwalking, a technique of aiming using different anchor points on the bowstring, began to be used in archery sometime in the 1960s. The first mentions of stringwalking come from the USA, where some archers started using it for bowhunting. Gradually, this technique spread to target archery as well, especially in the barebow division. However, official rules did not allow stringwalking for a long time. It wasn't until 1995 that the International Archery Federation (FITA) permitted the use of stringwalking in the barebow division at international competitions. Since then, stringwalking has become a common and popular technique for many archers competing in the barebow division, as it allows them to aim more accurately at various distances without the need to change the aiming point.

I’m curious about the scoring system. We shoot one arrow per target at our 3Ds. How does it work with multiple shots?
@archerylove3 ай бұрын
This competition was shot according to WA rules, that means two arrows per target.
