I’ve just started feeding birds. Trying to determine what feed is in your feeders. What is in the blue glass container? Also where do you buy peanuts? Maybe farm store?

We buy a variety of different seed and mix it ourselves. The seed we put out changes based on the time of year and what birds are visiting. This way there is little waste and it's more cost effective. Currently the blue glass dish has black oil sunflower seed in it. We buy all of our seed and peanuts from a feed store that carries a wide range of supplies from livestock to backyard birding supplies and seed.

I have your birds on everyday while I work from home. The raven has been very active by you! He is fascinating taking up to 5 of your peanuts at a time! Do you have any clips of him? Thank you for all that you do!!

So glad you're enjoying the channel! We have American Crows that come to the feeder, but we haven't seen a Raven. The next time you see the Raven let us know the day and time if you can, we'd love to see and can put out a video clip! Thank you 😊

For some reason we never get many bluejays. We get a ton of cardinals and chickadees... and titmouses. The bluejays just dont come. Of course i also get the painted bunting twice a year. :)

They do make us laugh all the time. So funny when they come back to the feeder and still have the peanut in their beak that they left with only to trade it for another one 😂

great video and i love your feeder stations. i'm fortunate to have all of the Indiana woodpeckers show up at my feeders including the redheaded, pileated, and even yellow-belly sapsuckers. their favorites are unanimously shelled peanuts and suet :D
