I’m playing farming simulator and they have a airbar for a John Deere header. I was curious on what it does and this video explained everything. Now I’m just wondering if the benefits of this tool are implemented into the gameplay 😂

About the airflow control valve. Why would you not want full wind power? I would think the more wind the better.

Hi Mr. Bojangles, setting the airflow properly ensures that the crop is effectively moved away from the knife, reducing shatter loss without taking up excess horsepower. Then as moisture starts to rise the airflow can be increased, allowing you to run longer in the evening.

Another tip. Weld the 1/4" carriage bolts to the flanges. Makes assembly way easier

Without the AWS Airbar these lentils would be half threshed at the knife. The steady dream of air moves the drop from the knife, up the inclined ramp of the Honeybee Airflex and well onto the canvas. Notice how there is no bunching on the knife between reel bats.

This video illustrates the effect that the air has on loose beans that would otherwise roll to the ground when shattered from the pods. Notice the crop being held high on the canvas so that it is fed onto the center feed conveyor rather than into the sump.

I see lots of Roundup resistant canola in these videos. That is the worst weed Canada ever produced. I've got it and never even planted canola.
