There's some videos people sleeping in Yaris hatchback. I guess Cross is longer. You can arrange and organize a decent sleep mat there..
@wilderways18 сағат бұрын
Yes, that's right, and I will definitely do that too. But as you can see in the video, it depends a little on how tall you are. I had difficulty lying stretched out, unless I was lying at an angle, and then you lean slightly downwards to one side, so it is not optimal. But I don't judge the car as bad at all, it's just not quite optimal for my height, and I'm only medium tall ;-)

Can you attached a footprint to a tent ?
@wilderways5 күн бұрын
Hi. The footprint itself is not attached to the tent. It is held in place with its own pegs in the ground, as can also be seen in the video. In the inner tent there is a floor as part of the tent itself.

Hello, i wondered if you used it now and if yes what do you think about it after that ? Thanks
@wilderways5 күн бұрын
So far I have only tested the tent in my forest garden. I had it with me on a trip and also got to set it up, but had to interrupt the trip due to too bad weather, so I didn't get to sleep in it unfortunately. However, I experienced that it was very easy and quick to set up, it was easy to carry and it also seems quite large inside, I think.

@@SamSamh21 However, I haven't tried the tent in the rain yet, so I don't know how well it keeps the rain out. It still needs to be explored. Have a great trip 🙂🌲🌳

Use the "diagonal", you will gain a few cm. I myself usually transport 3 pairs of Skis: 174, 177 and 181 cm. In the double bottom I carry a complete spare wheel, two folding camping chairs, snow chains, rescue material and tools and then it is almost flat. Greetings
@wilderways11 күн бұрын
Thanks for your really good suggestions. Yes, I also tried lifting the slab in the double bottom and it gave a much more even floor. This of course removes the possibility that I can have storage boxes in the "recess", but it is clearly better with the flat floor. I also use the option of lying diagonally, but it kind of obstructs the space for all my other comping things, such as kitchen things and such. But all in all, it's all fixable, so I'll definitely have some fantastic trips out into nature.

You're projecting human emotions onto an animal. To a vet that cat looks nurished ,bright eyed and the proverbial bushy tailed.
@wilderways25 күн бұрын
I understand what you mean and kind of agree. I also think he looked okay healthy. After some investigation I found that he had been staying with an old lady nearby in the woods. However, she had suffered a brain haemorrhage and had been moved by the municipality. They had thus left the cat only barely a year old, after which he lived alone around where I lived, until he sought help from me when winter came. But I think he's done well finding food all summer. It was only when the snow came and it was minus 15C that he couldn't cope anymore. There are many wild cats here in the forests, and many of them cannot survive the harsh winters.
@Corporate_Desecration24 күн бұрын
Which emotions here are exclusively human? Being lonely? Being hungry and being cold aren’t even emotions, they’re physical states of being. Sure, there are some assumptions happening but I think those are fair to assume considering most feral cats avoid coming close to people or entering homes.

Nice review! Just bought one as well. I'm 1m90 and was looking for a longer tent that's cheap and lightweight. I occasionally sleep in my garden and want to possibility to take it with me when hiking in the future. For 80 euros it was no-brainer. I will be testing it out this night.
@wilderways26 күн бұрын

should i buy this one for a first tent?
@wilderways27 күн бұрын
I'd rather not make recommendations to buy, because if you're disappointed, it's like my fault. That's why I'm just giving my own experience of the tent, and then it's up to you to decide if it's the right tent for you. But, I would say that since it is both cheap and light, it is, in my opinion, a good beginner's tent 🙂

It’s an enjoyable video. In my opinion, the more you pack into a pack, it will become a heavy burden to carry while hiking or walking long distances. Rush72 is a great pack but a true backpack like Osprey or Gregory may be more suitable for camping stuffs 😊
@wilderways27 күн бұрын
I totally agree. I also never wanted to pack that much again, it was way too heavy. And I myself also use Osprey or similar lighter backpacks for hiking. But, if you have to pack heavily, this Rush 72 is built for it 🙂

Morten, Thanks for the detailed review. Was looking at that pack as well. I live in a National forest area in the states and also do a lot of 2-3 day excursions and think this pack will work well. By the way, love Denmark. Spent quite a bit of time in Denmark prior to retirement. Looking forward to your future reviews.

Hi and thank you 🙂 Yes, for me it is also best for my shorter trips, where I can bring more equipment and a little more weight than the longer hikes. Today (when I wrote this) I am going on a 2 day trip, where I test the backpack out there. Sounds lovely to live in a national forest area :-) Have a great time out there 🙂

Here's my testimony of owning this backpack for about 2 years now. Quality is absolutely the best. I carry it everywhere and I ride a motorcycle most of the year. I've been hiking and hunting with it. I've never tried to baby it and there is not a single stitch loose or torn. I'm a big guy and it will hold almost more than you can safely carry. My ONLY small complaint, and it's the reason I'm looking up videos now, is it doesn't really come with "instructions". I'm just not as well informed on all the tactical features a bag like this should have so there's a couple of compartments and straps that I still don't know what they are for. That's less of a complaint than it is a compliment though. This isn't my "bugout" bag, this is my DAILY bag and I will trust it with my life. Very few products get a testimonial like this from me but credit where credit is due.

Hi Fred. Thank you for your comment here. I have not yet used the backpack for two years like you, but here after half a season of use, I very much agree with you that the quality is excessively good. Of course, this also means that the backpack itself weighs a little more than various lightweight backpacks. But with sturdiness comes some weight, which I like. I will definitely be testing it more and also making a few more videos where I take it on a trip. But thanks again for your positive comment.
