A TV produces even less imagination and lesser intelligence quicker. We still haven’t addressed the damage from TV on the mind. We need more shows like this, or shows on how to be a good neighbor. And less fast editing. Next time count the seconds from cut to cut. Its 2 to 4 at the most. Fast cutting stimulates the eyes and mind.

My pops was born in 1948, I've heard countless stories of how much easier it was back then. He went to work at 13, and got his first apartment by 17, married at 18 for the first time. It almost seems like a different universe. I was born in the 90's, even then was a whole different world.

I saw this car, a good number of years ago, at a vintage race in WA state, Pacific raceways in Kent. They had a good road racing track for many years but ruined it by a slight change up on the straight and put concrete highway barriers for the drags racing days and this one year, the track was damp and a guy in a transAm Comet blew his engine on the straight but it didn't show with the wet track and the Vette came down full power, hitting the oil and backed into the heavy barrier crunching his once pristine corvette making it a good foot shorter.

Back then you had fizzy drink and desserts on birthdays & at Christmas not everyday. Snacks weren’t a thing and eating out was a pot luck dinner with family. You had maybe 2 pairs of shoes and 5- 10 changes of clothes. One car per family if that, no cell phones, no pay tv, your money went into your house and not into your self.
