Hey guys, I hope everything is okay. Haven’t seen a post in awhile..
Man to fast track your learning on rock fishing and land based fishing I would say is to see if you can get someone who knows the area your going to and to go with you and watch what other fishoes are doing and baits and rigs , some really good fishing fellows you can meet I found are on marinas , don’t discount marinas there is some really good fishing around boat harbours and usually there are top blokes about that will help , some won’t but there is some great fellas who will , I have even had fish given to me because the guy felt sorry for me lol I was having a really crap day but I didn’t quit , even showed me a few things and I have been improving from learning from others , that’s my 2 cents worth mate , also ask questions guys will also help in that regard to if your stuck and not sure about things. All the best.

G’day. I loved your video. I’m from Melbourne too and was in Cairns just a few weeks after you... once in Oct and then again in Nov. Going back in 2 weeks and can’t wait. Good luck to you to on your engagement. I hope you have many adventures together in your life. Great filming at Milla and very romantic. Congrats and all the best on your adventures 💕😘

Can u tell me how is Cairns? I am from Scandinavia but love to live in this tropical paradise ❤❤
@amusical123 ай бұрын
@trinitymatrix9719 G'day. Cairns is the best place in the world 😍 Average temp 26 deg Celsius year round (that's the Winter average 🥰). More rain in the wet season which runs from Oct to April, bringing potential cyclones, hot, hot weather with high humidity and more rain, but always hot and tropical. As for location, Cairns has everything on its doorstep. A short walk from most places to the Reef Terminal which is where all of the Barrier Reef and Island tours depart and arrive back from. Great tours with snorkelling the reef or scuba, helicopter flights over the reef, or just swim with the turtles and marine life from Green or Fitzroy Islands. Fantastic. I just went back for my third trip in a few months and broke my fibula and detached my ankle on Fitzroy Island slipping on the coral beach... second day of my holiday 😧 Managed to hire a wheelchair and get around the Aquarium, Night Markets, Lagoon and even Hartley's Crocodile Adventures 😉😊 Hence to stay I had surgery a week or so ago and am now in plaster and wheelchair for six weeks lol. The people up in Cairns were amazing, real true blue fair dinkum Aussies 😘 I'm from Melbourne but stayed at Rydges Esplanade Resort (I did a video of it on my piano channel... I know a bit strange to play my piano interpretations and then put a resort video about the pool, but you can see it on my channel if you want to take a look) 😀 (Also, check out my piano, I just did Aha...if you are Norwegian haha) you might like my channel too 😉. Cairns is also located beautifully to head to some of the Northern Beaches... Ellis, Trinity, Palm Cove or a bit further to Port Douglas. If you stay at Port Douglas, you will have very early mornings to arrive at some of the Cairns Islands and reef tours, so better to stay in Cairns if you want to be closer to your home away from home 😃 Port Douglas is beautiful, more expensive all round, but worth a visit for sure. I hope this helps, obviously the Waterfall Circuit has much to see and do if you take in Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine, Yarrabunga or the Cathedral Fig. I'd put two days aside to see it all at a good pace so you can enjoy it all. I hope you come Down Under. Best times June, July, Oct, Nov. All the best.. start saving those pennies for your trip of ten lifetimes ❤️

Every time you set up your awning, you always need to angle it down to prevent water pooling. I usually drop one side just enough to allow water to run off freely. In my early caravanning days, I made the mistake once of not angling the awning, it filled with water and I think slightly stretched the vinyl. Not pretty. Also, can I suggest, especially with the awning type you have which I assume is Fiamma, to always tie it down to the ground. It will take very little wind to flip it straight over the top of your van, causing significant damage. I have seen it happen to a mate's van/awning - full new awning required and dents to his camper/van. Enjoying watching your travels. Have a great trip. Dave

Hey mate, I did have one side of the awning down abit more then the other but must not of had it down enough. I could not believe how much water it held! Next time I put it out I’m going to drop it down a lot more. Hey Denise! Thank you heaps for that. I’m a big advocate for mental health, big part of the reason doing what I’m doing. Some thing that wasn’t really spoken about and is getting more and more of the attention that it needs, everyone deserves to to get the help that’s needed! Thank you so much for your comment! Haha and as for Kayla she is slowly coming out of her shell 😂

That last fish would have been a beauty but you still caught fish. Losing a fish and wondering what it could have been is part of the game and makes for a good story, you know, the one that got away. We also have travelled with two small dogs and it can be difficult at times and definitely restricts where you can go. The painted blue trees is an initiative to raise the awareness of mental health, spreading the paint spreads the awareness. Once you get further North there will be a lot more free camps and keep the episodes coming. Cheers!
@cruisinclueless6 ай бұрын
Ohh Sep I would have loved to see what it was! But like you said that’s all part of the game. If our dogs were a little more obedient it would of been a lot easier and we would of kept them with us, but they just did not listen out here which scared me cause anything can happen out here. It makes sense now about the trees being painted blue! I’ve always wondered what it ment! It’s so good that people are trying to push the message of mental health in all sorts of ways. We are all affected by it one way or another. Thank you heaps for your comment Sep!

Don’t use towball for snatch/winch - not rated and very dangerous, take hitch out and attach to the cross bar in the receiver that runs through that is used to secure the tow ball hitch.
@cruisinclueless6 ай бұрын
Do you mean the tow bar itself mate? I think it would be a good idea to get one of those tow hitch with the shackle on it
@VykingBoy6 ай бұрын
@@cruisincluelessyes around the pin that normally locks the tow hitch in. That pin is rated to hold the weight of a pulled caravan. A tow recovery hitch will use this also and a little easier to attach the strap too. People have had towball a ripped off and shot through windscreen so avoid towball!

@@VykingBoy I get ya mate. You’re a legend thanks heaps for that advice mate, I really appreciate it
@taringaturi69506 ай бұрын
Your hose gets hot from the compressor. It happens. Never snatch out of the bog by just the tow hitch. Pull your DO35 hitch out of your rear bar housing and then put the eye of the snatch strap back through the hitch housing and then feed the hitch pin through the eye of the strap.
@cruisinclueless6 ай бұрын
Mate I couldn’t believe how hot it gets, I was stressing to the point I made my mrs stand there to make sure the thing doesn’t go up in flames 😂. And for the tow hitch, just so I understand, does the hitch sleeve go straight through, i thought it would been capped of by the tow bar, if that makes sense. What about strapping around the tow bar itself? Thanks heaps mate!!
@taringaturi69506 ай бұрын
@@cruisinclueless Hey Mate.. nah you don't need to do that. Just need to line the eye of the strap up with the hitch pin holes. Then feed the pin through the pin holes and eye of the strap. Now I've only done this a several times to help a couple of bogged rigs snatch out who had no recovery gear. I wouldn't recommend you do this all the time. The pins are very strong but you don't want to keep snatching out all the time as the pin will eventually weaken, bend or worse. It's not really their purpose. Get some recovery gear for your next trip Mate. Go well!
